well if it wasnt obvious from my post i watch fox news.............. and im one of the few that thinks bill orielly is fair... he asks both touch questions to the left and right guests. CNN just likes to usually have on one sided conversations in my opinions of watching them over the years. they tried to hide it by hiring glen beck. one of the few fighters against illegal immigration, other than loud dobbs.

There is nothing fair about the spin zone and o'reillys grotesque habit with the word "SHUT UP" and "CUT HIS MIC!!!" when conducting interviews.

The fact is, Fox News is not strictly news. It is a mixture of news, commentary, and analysis.

Fox News reports the news as well as CNN. I don't see any major differences between the two when it comes to reporting the news. They are both quite objective, which is my measure of news performance.

When it comes to commentary, Fox is biased slightly to the right. They attempt to balance their commentary by featuring liberal and Democrat commentators, and sometimes they do a good job. Bob Beckel and Ellis Hennican are two good lefties.

But the fact is, good liberal commentators are hard to find. Alan Colmes appears so uptight that he looks like a constipated chihuahua. Hannity regularly eats his lunch.

To talk about "spin" is moot. Commentators are supposed to spin. News reporters are not.

There are some very intelligent liberals out there but for some reason, and since we have the same agenda anyway, not many want to get involved. What's the sense???

I notice liberals personalities are less agressive, although their views are right on target, imo of course.

The reason they don't want to get involved in the bright spotlight of the public is obvious - it is very difficult to defend higher taxes and bigger gov't, which is what their politics consist of. And especially since the vast majority of Americans think the opposite.

That's why the libs stay in academia, as college professors. They are able to sell their BS to young skulls full of mush that don't know any better.

My beef with liberals and the left is the fact that i was INDOCTRINATED since i was a kid.Everything i learned about the world as i was growing up was with a leftist slant.I never had a CHANCE to make up my own mind.In addtion,ive taken ALOT of flak from those on the left for stating my opinion about the Iraq war.Ive had to UNDO the propaganda fed to me since i was a kid.It took about 8 months.I now know that leaning too far to the left or the right leads to trouble.I do know this-any liberal or leftist will gut the military first chance they get so they will never get my vote when it comes to national security.
National security trumps the economy simple because if you dont defend what you stand for,then there wont be an economy to worry about because youll be dead.As one poster once said news media is fed from many sources and the war we are engaged in is a new type of war not only physical but pyschological.Keep that in mind.

As a conservative .. I must say I only watch CNN, well I don't have a TV, but I do have a CNN subscription to watch CNN on my computer "live".

I find CNN more "fair" and unbiased .. I also find them more intellectual then Fox and the God forsaken MSNBC (vomit) which is the polar opposite of Fox and has an intellectual level of a 3rd grader..

Even I find Fox abrasive and complete propaganda BS .. and like I said, I am a very far right wing conservative. Libertarian to be exact.

i dont put any faith in fox news. i dont watch it on tv(mostly because i dont have a tv). but even when i had a tv i never watched fox.

the only reason i hear fox news now is because of the AM talk radio station i listen to but i just tune it out in my mind. fox is full of *snip* as well.

Anybody, liberal or conservative, who allow themselves to be trapped in the left or right, black and white paradigm, are lacking in the imagination to conceive of an existence outside rigidly defined policies set by institutions outside of their control.

Hey, man, you can bash whoever you want. The United States has freedom of speech. That's what makes it okay. I don't see anybody inhibiting any news organization from doing what they want, or presenting their "side."

It's all about marketing. Pepsi markets one way, Coke another. You're just a consumer to them, and they don't care other than to try to sell you something. In the case of the news, it's advertising.

In a free society if you fall for the politically divisive rhetoric of those in power you have fallen under the social control of those who will stand up and ask for the resources to carry out their grandiose social plans based on their conceptual understanding of reality - which, is in many cases, critically flawed due to spiritual corruption.

The simple truth is that both parties are of and under the control of American aristocracy. They truly are just playing at ideological differences to divert the public's attention from the reality of aristocratic greed and unjust deeds.

In America today mass media defines the issues to be debated, discussed and analyzed.

This last quote is a very good and important point. One I have failed to communicate as well as this article does in one sentence.

How can a society consider itself free when their very thoughts are decided for them by the media? The media tells you what to think about and what to focus on. It gives you both sides of the argument and you make your choice. But they always tell you what to argue and never give any alternative viewpoint!

The media is owned by very few companies whose interest is making money rather than informing you. As long as people keep falling for the mouse trap, and thinking they are informed because they watch CNN, or Fox, or whatever, then nothing will ever change. Because you wouldn't know what to change to.

That's why we keep repeating our mistakes, we are trapped in an illusion of freedom, maintained by fear. Social control by the social elite. Like the animal that's been raised in captivity and refuses to leave the cage when its freedom is offered. If we are doomed to repeat this path of existence, then we are doomed to destroy ourselves.

No, it's because it's a given that all the other news sourses are simply left wing liberal and can be ignored. 95% of journalists want to change the world into a liberal mindset. And yes they laugh at the libs. Why not? I'm sure it's not because you're are a bunch that blames everyone but yourselves for your problems and are a bit lacking in the personal responsibility department. CNN is your oyster.

Here’s my problem with the all news!!!!

News should be facts and facts only. Not opinions or some reporters thoughts or spin on it.

It should not be about Hollywood movie stars of whose doing whom or about what type of coffee they drink in the mornings.

It should be about the United States of American and the rest of the worlds actual news. Facts only not rubbish, not their opinions or smirks or rolled eyes.
