U.S. planned to spray chemical weapons on Aussie troops

Wow. Talk about illegal WMDs. The U.S. government was in advanced planning stages of mass murdering Ausralian troops by dumping sarin, VX and GB on them. With allies like that, who needs enemies?

But you're forgetting during this time they tested all sorts of things on all sorts of people including there own.
The leaders of the time and the threats of the time were a different story, a whole different world than now.
It doesn't make it right no way.
But the people of that time thought in a different way than they do now.
Think back then mental asylums still used electric shock treatment.
And I don't mean subtle ECT like they have it today, I mean full on zapping electrocution.People died from it.

honestly i'm not surprised, they( US gov.) conduct experiments on their own citizens, usually resulting in death or severe side effects- so what makes us exempt?
