I'm sorry for the threatening violent dark foreboding destructive warrior in my avi, she does have a sweet side though.

Just so she's not 'possessed.' LOL.

I would hardly call my avatar dark or foreboding, I just wish I could make the damn thing bigger.

It DOES appear that many avatars do contain a strong element of the provocative.

What is the provocative from?
What is the provocative aimed at?

--Does it arise out of a desperate need to feel that one has an impact on the world around him?

--Is it targeted at triggering an emotional response because the emotional responses in the person's life are anemic or unsatisfying?

--Is it a deliberately affrontive because of some deep, intense, inner rage at the status quo . . . or at the prissy . . . or the mundane?
