Seven points that the mass media either completely ignores or jokes about that, in any reasonable election, would have ended McCain's hopes of ever becoming president.

1. McCain unambiguously called Social Security "an absolute disgrace."
2. McCain's top economic policy adviser calls Americans a bunch of "whiners" for being worried about the slumping economy.
3. Iraqi leaders call for a timetable for U.S. withdrawal, McCain gets caught in a bizarre denial and flip flop.
4. McCain's economic plan to cut the deficit has no details and is simply not believable.
5. McCain's deficit plan includes bringing the troops home represents a major Iraq flip-flop.
6. McCain campaign misled about economists support.
7. McCain makes a joke about killing Iranians.
8. McCain denies, flatly, that he ever said that he is not an expert in economics.

Each point is thoroughly researched and most of it comes straight from McCain's mouth.

Indeed..it's disturbing how little attention these very serious items get. We're too busy being confused by Jesse Jackson and Hollywood to pay attention to anything that actually matters!

I don't see how anyone can believe McCain is an honest candidate after just this week, not the mention the other thousands issues he's changed on.

He is no different than obama. Seems they are walking hand in hand. The only difference is that Obama is slicker when it comes to smoothing things over. Then again maybe it's because McCain's goofs are usually replacing Obama's goofs in the news. Oh well, more goofs and changes from both candidates are sure to come.

Well thats a subjective opinion. But the word "lie" denotes an objective truth. Lets see how many of these are in fact, lies?

That's an OPINION of His. Its also one which is arguable by many defintions. It is not however, a "lie".

Again a "lie" is not an opinion you dont agree with. Look the word up.

3. Iraqi leaders call for a timetable for U.S. withdrawal, McCain gets caught in a bizarre denial and flip flop.

Youll have to define "bizarre" as well as "fli-flop" to make your case. But at least you actually point to somehting that could, concievably, be a "lie"

In what way is that a lie? Believable to whom?

Huh?

Again, how is this a "lie"?

Each point is thoroughly researched and most of it comes straight from McCain's mouth.

Saying it, does not make it so and almost half your list couldnt be consider "lies" even if they were proved. Sloppy.

Including the ones on how a statement like "SS is disgraceful" isnt an opinion but a lie?

Never mind, I didnt realise you allowed other peoples articles to substitute for your own thinking.

It's a fact that McCain would lose what's likely to be one of his strongest blocks - The senior citizens vote - if they knew he called SS an "absolute disgrace."

But the media chooses not to report on it.

You can have your opinions on the SS program, but you cannot deny that McCain would lose far more votes than he would gain if every voter knew about what he said.

He would go down in flames in Florida if the voting block there heard these comments.
