I've noticed when driving a vehicle and I have the radio on AM, and I have my cell phone in the car, Once every ~30 mins (varies) there will
be a sound similiar to the "gallop of a horse" (best analogy I can find) for about 3 seconds. It is a loud static sound that drowns out any signal
out the radio.
Does it have anything to do with the cell phone roaming or picking up some interference?
Any ideas appreciated.
