Breaking news- Israel 'Ready to Act' Over Iran

Israel's defence minister has warned of his country's readiness to act against Iran if it feels threatened. In a strong statement, Ehud Barak said Israel had "proved in the past that it won't hesitate to act when its vital security interests are at stake".

That statement is not called for They are just people trying to live an every day life just like you and me When will people wake up and stop killing each other

geocom... you ought to get a job with the current Administration. You'd fit right in. Clearly, you have no clue what the global effects would be from any armed conflict with Iran. This is insanity of the highest order. You would think --- at least you would hope --- that people would have learned from the Iraq and Afghaistan wars. Attacking Iran will solve absolutely nothing. It will in no way create a more peaceful or more stable Middle East. It will do nothing to bolster Israel's security. What it WILL do is destabilize and likely tank the global (certainly the US economy), create far more friction between the 'west' and the 'east' and the Middle East, and likely convince the rest of the Middle East (if not the world) that Israel is a dangerous and unstable entity. There is no upside to this situation.

I wonder if something along the lines of this happening and israel starting to build the 3rd temple, as they have most if not all of it ready to be assembled in 3 months time

Why has this been going on for so long? What is the real reason Isreal has such a hard on for Iran? Why is it that we blindly follow Israel to do whatever we are told? Part of me wants this to happen just so I can be proven right and WW3 starts. Just end all this political BS and put up or shut up. Or they could pick the toughest guy in their country and vice versa and just duke it out. In the end the same results would happen. One would "win" and one would "loose", but without destoying my income and faith in America. I am sick to the point of slapping Dick Cheney in the face over this. Sorry to rant but having alsolutely zero control over such an asinine situation make me a little pissed off. have a nice day everyone.

I think its just more talk blown out of proportion.Last week they said they have no plans to attack Iran at all.Now they say this.The week before that they said they were going to attack Iran.I think these politicians are just corrupt mouth pieces trying to manipulate financial markets.What goes around comes around and they will get theres.

It's been said that the U.S. will come to Israels defense if Iran starts a war with them. What happens if it's the other way around? I mean, Israel may feel threatened just by the missile testing done recently. Would the U.S. then support Israel?

Why is it that so many people are so eager for the death and destruction of others? I constantly remind My kids how lucky they are to have been born where they were. Whatever You want to call it- by the grace of God or plain old luck it could very well be YOU living the life of those poor people. I find that those who are least affected by war are the ones who want it most.
