Which country is the rogue nation? Iraq? Iran? Or the United States? Syndicated columnist Charley Reese asks this question in a recently published article.

Reese notes that it is the US that routinely commits "acts of aggression around the globe." The US government has no qualms about dropping bombs on civilians whether they be in Serbia, the Middle East, or Africa. It is all in a good cause—our cause.

This slaughtering of foreigners doesn’t seem to bother the American public. Americans take it for granted that Americans are superior and that American purposes, whatever they be, take precedence over the rights of other people to life and to a political existence independent of American hegemony.

The callousness of Americans toward the lives of other peoples is stunning. How many Christian churches ask God’s forgiveness for having been rushed into an error that has killed, maimed, and displaced a quarter of the Iraqi population?

How many Christian churches ask God to give better guidance to our government so that it does not repeat the error and crime by attacking Iran?

The indifference of Americans to others flows from "American Exceptionalism", the belief that Americans are graced with a special mission to impose their virtue on the rest of the world.

USA is Responsible for so many war crimes and Genocides against humanity and yet USA calls itself a 'democracy' .

I said basically all the same things to a friend of mine the other day....but yeeah america always has its nose in other countries business as if to say "you guys don't know what you want, let us tell you..."not to mention some of the wars and cia backed civil wars of other countries and such...It seems to me alot of the american "exceptionalism" came after world war two where most american shows and such portray the bombing of hiroshima and nagasaki as america saving the world from untold horrors giving the american government the right to do whatever the # they want in the future because hey, we saved the world

When it comes to completely insane foreign relations policies along with bad treatment of a lot of its people. It definitely the US. Since the Cold war ended, the Us has made a balls of an awful lot of things. The Bush's and Clinton's are an easy collective scapegoat for this.

Definitely the US...

The US is easily the most morally bankrupt nation the world has ever known...The destruction the US has wreaked on the the world over the last 60 years is unsurpassed in human history...

And there's been some rotten nations over the years...

Power corrupts. USA is a perfect example. There is almost nothing good left in USA.

Really? Iran wants to make blogging punishable by death. Yeah, America is a horrible nation, pure evil. You people are so blind, America is a bully, but it is far far far from the most evil nation on earth.

How much aid do Iran and Iraq give the rest of the world? How about combined? How about how much "aid" do they give their own citizens? Hmmm...how do they treat their own citizens? Yes-human rights issues and religious freedoms...tell me please. Tell me of the humanitarian programs that they SET UP and FUND to help the lesser off people of the planet. How muchy of this do they do? What did Iran do when Iraq INVADED Kuwait? What is Iraq and Iran doing about the humanitarian crisis on the African sub-continent? Donating how much food, clothing, medicine, supplies?

These two countries are not rogue, they are exemplary and setting forth examples that the rest of the world can live by!
