I had a quick search and hadn't seen this clip posted previously.
uk.youtube.com...
It doesn't seem to be lanterns, balloons or a conventional aircraft but then i'm far from being an expert!
Given the fact that everyone in the UK seems to be looking skywards, following a lot of media coverage, its great that we're getting loads of footage and long may it continue.
Having joined ATS, I have found myself being more critical of the videos I watch, having previously accepted them as the genuine article.
It is a testament to Ufologists, sceptics and analysts alike for all their input, creating fascinating threads.

Hey thats pretty cool, i dont recall seeing that one neither.
He got one good shot of it, and it looks like 3 objects rather than the one to me, and its going at some speed.

I had a feeling 2008 was going to be a bumper year for UFO's, 6 months into it, we have already had alot.

Ive always thought that any disclosure wouldn't be in our life time, and that it would be staged, or maybe we will have disclosure in our life time, i hope so, though i still feel it will be staged, as contact i feel has already been made.

S&F.

Maybe the general public are being tested at the moment for full disclosure. See how everyone reacts to widespread, worldwide media coverage beforehand.
Stay calm people, lets not panic!
re: the clip. Definitely looks like three objects to me too.

I think one of the problems is digital zoom. Its not like the old fashioned analogue.
It takes averages of images and converts them. And also heavily refracts light so it can even seem things are moving apart from a long distance yet they aren't.
There is one clip of a police chopper in the UK following an object with a camera and flir which would seem to be genuine however it looks like its tracking a meteorite however they usually don't fly in this fashion they crash into things.

What you're saying is, that it's just one point of light giving the illusion of three, because of digital zoom? Ok
Like I say, i'm no expert but does look like three objects to me.
Anyone else have an opinion?
I remember the police helicopter footage, think it was over Brighton.
Someone tried to pass it off as the Wrexham footage recently.
Doesn't resemble this film though!

I didn't think that this clip needed its own thread as it falls under the same heading as the existing title.
So here it is then...

uk.youtube.com...

Does appear to be a reflection to start with but towards the end when it shoots skywards made me doubt it.
Also the background doesn't move as the object does which I would expect.
Or i've still got a lot to learn.

I noticed when the lamp post goes right the "thing" goes left.. when the lamp post goes left.. the "thing" goes right.

Then when the lamp post goes down.. this "thing" goes up.

I'm leaning on the lamp post is lighting something dirty on the lens which is creating this "thing".

Also as this "thing" moves up, it dims. This would happen if the light focused from the lamp onto the lens is diminished due to the angle as the lens moves away from the lamp.

I believe it to be nothing more then light reflection from the lamp light.

Also notice how the colors are similar..

Just saying It MIGHT be a plane. The clouds are moving to the right making the plane appear to move sideways to the left??

But all we can see is 3 lights. Oh well.

Flagged.

Excellent footage. Thats not a meteor or any space debris - thats a craft of unknown type - I thing this deserves its own thread too...

The UK is really getting a hell of alot of sightings at the minute...

I just read these reports and have the dark knights threads echoing through my mind...

If your in the south west theres something on the news about ufo's in a bit.

Didn't show anything that interesting, just another small blurred object in the sky, though its another sighting to add to the list, the south west has seen most of the activity in the uk lately, strange i wonder why?

I think a lot of these sightings are down to the fact that it's summer and a lot of lanterns and balloons are being released.
That combined with the welsh police helicopter incident bringing media coverage/public awareness of the subject and we seem to be having a bit of a flap.
Obviously i'm not saying all sightings are lanterns/balloons, just more people are aware, meaning more sightings.
Missed the news programme but bet the blurry object is in the tabloids tomorrow!

Yeah you're right, when it comes to blurred objects or lights im pretty sceptical of them, especially if moving slowly and in formation, the only time i would take them seriously is if they move in ways ours stuff can't, like sharp turns or extreme speeds, otherwise we need decent pictures, thats why i plan to setup a sky scanning telescope webcam sometime, hopefully i can catch something.

We are getting a lot over North Wales and the NW of England too, a friend of mine told me of someone who had a 10 min sighting over N Yorkshire last night,i dont know these folk personaly although i do know them and they seem to be level headed, The wife is a barrister, and the hubby a sergeant in the Yorkshire police, i asked a few questions but got told politely to speak to them direct, which ill do over the weekend,(no im not saying give me 4 days) i dont know what they saw or if they filmed it, i do know she contacted or is trying to contact Jenny Randles.

They seem to everywhere, i just wish if they are going to invade or make contact with the populace they will get on with it, i doubt first contact would ever be with the White House, it woud be with a civilian or group of, someone who would speak for the worlds people and not try and trade for technology, last thing Earth needs is technology right now.

Who would you want them to contact first? on your behalf?

Thats most of the problem..
Blurry its a plane, balloon, lantern, or bird.

Sharp its always going to be called fake.

eyewitness always called mistaken, a fraud, or accused of it being the same as for blurry.

Some people will never be satisfied until one lands and is filmed by several witnesses, Debunkers have always had a problem explaining UFOs caught on the ground.

Debunkers are good at calling others all kinds, even liars or frauds, truth is they dont have the ability to debate the matter or accept that because others have seen it and not them that they could be real.

saddens me the ignorance shown sometimes really does.
