Disinfo on high traffic forums

Well, I think the 9/11 forums were full of spooks at one point.

Some people in there seemed to make it their lifes workd to spread nonsense and B.S. and attack any type of valid argument or critical thought.

Seems like certain topics bring out the worst elements possible.

The problem with disinformation, on the internet in particular is that they government doesn't need to hire people to spread it. For the most part people spread it themselves without even realizing it. Like I said the internet is especially bad for this because there are multitudes of people that seem to believe that because it's posted on the internet it must be true.

A person a couple posts above me mentioned that people attack valid arguments and critical thought? That is what arguments and thoughts are for, ATTACKING. If you don't attack a thought and cut it off how can you accept it as true? If it doesn't hold up to an attack then it must be a pretty weak argument and would no longer be valid.

The other problem is people make wild INvalid arguments constantly without citing any sources, or drawing wild insane conclusions that have no basis in reality. For instance, I burnt my hand today on the stove while cooking breakfast, clearly this was an attack on me because my stove is a sentient being sent by aliens from outer space that landed and brought my stove to life, but they were under the orders of our reptilian leaders that abducted my room mate and stuck a dinner plate in his brain in order to turn him into a living antenna zombie out to get me. Seriously, this place used to be ok for reading some interesting stuff, I came here from another forum that the exact same thing happened to. It was full of interesting and useful information, then one day people just start posting random # and silly thoughts that they think everyone has to take for truth simply on their word or www.ufoinmypants.com which of course would never, ever lie about anything they say ever.

My point is that there are no government hired disinformation specialists on these forums, the more people that come into the forums, the harder it is to moderate the nutjobs and keep the real, useful information from ever being spotted.

But I doubt that they'll delete this thread because that would almost certainly proves their existence and their agenda! This also helps making the the thread poster seem like paranoid fool!

This is probably the best advice that has been given thus far on this thread and it would be wise to understand it and use it to your advantage. Follow claims through with logic instead of with emotion.

Again, refer to quoted posters wise words in deciphering who is trying to manipulate the posters of this board.

By the way, I typically don't think it is the ppl who are debunking the theories so to speak and trying to get ppl to use their heads. I am more cautious around those who sound like they are for freedom, but if you pay attention REAL closely, you will see that they use another persons freedom of choice (say for instance, a person chooses to opt for technology to secure their property ..) and rile ppl up against the choice through wild assumptions and baseless conclusions.

If you notice the end result of these threads, all those who try to use their logic are made fun of (usually called "sheeple" and told they are not aware of the truth and are playing into the hands of the "beast") and anyone in these threads who start to have light dawn in their heads to use logic are immediately preyed upon with fear and paranoia. Me thinks they have a reason for doing so

The real problem with disinfo, is that emails, posts, comments etc 'uncovering' disinfo, could just be disinfo themselves.

People who run around crying 'DISINFO AGENT!' every time someone disagrees with them, are the ones to worry about.

BTW, how does one get one of these jobs where you sit about on forums all day?

GLP is a total winner for that. If you want to know if you're on the right tracks pop it on a post there and see if it gets banned, fudged with a similar post (usually a Brass Eye clip or something) or just mocked/digressed. The mods there are almost funny if it wasn't so serious. The people who've paid up to join because they're apparently interested in conspiracies never actually post anything on conspiracies. Just crap news articles on Palin/Obama or 'Does anyone like flowers' or some meaningless drivel. They need to employ more shills there/ The ones they've got are so busy trying to wreck any concensus they haven't got time to pretend to be interested in conspiracy of any sort. Check the post 'coc aine in money' (a news article that did appear on the uk news 10 years ago) about 10mins later someone posted a new thread called 'drugs and the media' which was just a clip of Brass Eye the satirical show. Blatent attempt to fudge the point. Incidentally, the drugs in the media poster then put 'MP' directly under his original post - which is shorthand for 'my pleasure'. who's pleasure was he posting it for exactly? Go check out the two posts and tell me what you think...

A couple of the disinfo techniques that stand out most to me are on opposite ends of the spectrum. The first is what could be called the high-horse poster. This is someone who claims great education or special knowledge that puts them in a class above everyone else. They then proceed to browbeat anyone who would disagree and impugn their intelligence or motivations.

The second type is similar but opposite. This is a poster who is usually new to the forum supposedly, and who doesn’t stick around very long. This poster uses horrible grammar and spelling, poor logic and is often rude or hateful. The point of this type of disinfo is to have people look down on whatever position the poster supposedly holds.

There is also the agent provocateur. If a thread is going in an unwanted direction, a bomb thrower appears in order to confuse, obfuscate and muddy the waters. If the unwanted direction continues, then the thread is eventually shut down, with the bomb thrower used as a easy excuse.

It would be easy to point to inflammatory posters who seem to openly have an agenda, but my guess is these people probably lay low and are a lot more sbtle about their business.


I always suspected that there were people, not just government workers either, who were paid to get on the web and spread disinfo in order to sway public opinion on key issues. It sort of freaks me out to have seen proof, it definately makes one question the validity of just about everything that you read on these online message boards.

I guess it shows that a lot of paranoia is justified. Wonder how many I have personally chatted with over time spent, a few in particular instantly come to mind.

Bring up a point that if they disagree ALL THE TIME put them on ignore. Like do you think Bilderberg Group controls the global scene? or TAVISTOCK .

Put them on the spot. If they just ramble on about pro-elitist propaganda without presenting facts to support their argument just ignore them.

I agreed with you, there are lot of masons on the the secret society forum who are defending everything. For example there rituals look bad and ugly everyone admits that, but they will defend it by telling you the message behind it is beautiful, you tell me Is this the way of telling a beautiful message by placing sword on chest, blindfolding and putting a noose around the neck.
