ok im not the smartest tool in the shed but ive got some pretty far fetched good ideas.
what i want to talk about is gravity.
we all would not exist without gravity. there would be nothing here without gravity. lets take to the most extreme. what it boils down to is neutrons protons and electrons. they form a cell. am i right? so they hold together by a affinity or atraction to one another. if potasium , sodium and calcium did not a have an atraction to one another no one would be alive. and what is that attraction? gravity at the smallest most minute level. so you see every thing is held together by gravity. so my question is if we are all held together by gravity were does gravity come from

On atomic or even molecular levels gravilty is by far not the strongest force or even an influencing one. Search the net for chemical bonds for molecular level , a lot of info (not very easy) could be found. There are several forces responsible for atomic level, but i am less familiar with that.
Of course this is all current level of understanding and scientists tried to connect all different type of forces into one theory. Not achieved yet.

Look up the strong and the weak nuclear forces. What holds molecules together is the weak one.

Edit: Don't listen to me. Im to tired to make any sense of it and I think my above statement could be wrong. For molecule bonds look here. Interesting stuff though.

Keep digging and thinking.

Electromagnetism IMO holds everything and is responsible for gravity,sn,wn.

Damn, you beat me to it.

It makes sense to me on some deep level. Gravity always has a void, in its explanation... but electromagnetics is perfect. It powers stars, it rotates planets... it pretty much seals existence together.

Like menguard says "the light that shines is the light that binds the universe."

I believe electromagnetism is the "light" that menguard was talking about basically.

I didn't get menny for a while, but this thread helped. Thanks for a piece of the big old puzzle.

The Ancient ones called this "glue" (all-cohesive force) - Eros.
Think about it.

And BTW - slightly off-topic, since I am not talking about the all-cohesive force anymore - I think it's only a matter of time before the good old concept of "ether" is revived - under a different name, perhaps, to disguise the embarrassment...

Really if you want to get technical 'subspace',according to mine and other physicist theories(I am not physicist, yet).

thanks for input, i try to figure these things when im bored. lol but it does make since, even if you have the gravity produced by a cell is minute, its still gravity that holds it together.
