Hey,
I saw it again today, and I've noticed it before recently.
If you were a tom & jerry lover you know the old black lady that yelled at tom all the time.
Why I could tell a difference is beyond me, but they definately have edited everything about her character in the origional series they currently air.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I dont remember being able to see any body parts that showed skin, or the color of the skin. That is changed now you can see black skinned, pudgy arms. Also the voice is new.. its a younger voice playing as an older black woman.
anyone else notice this? why bother editing it?

added changed title, do kids really care?

I haven't watched it for a LOOONG time but I do remember they showed some of her body when I was younger. She used to hold her skirt up when Jerry was around and her socks were usually half up and half down.
She was always black.

Coming into this thread I was scared they had either cut her out or turned her into a white character. Frankly all this editing of old cartoons really cheeses me off. Why bother applying modern over-political correctness to old, classic cartoons that EVERY person of every colour enjoyed?
