Hi. I've been a ball of nerves ever since I saw a UFO about a month ago. I'm looking for any and all information, especially
video/photos/experiences that deal specfically with cigar shaped UFOs, double specifically that have a foggy haze around them.
If interested, my experience was as follows:
I was driving back on the highway to my home, which is on the suburbs outside of the city. I was slowing down from 65 down to 35ish because my turn
off the highway was coming up in 20-30 seconds.
There are a series of bridges, most of them just small bridges for walkers/bike riders to cross over the highway. When I went under the first bridge,
my eyes were suddenly drawn up to a greyish metalic object in the sky. It seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. It was huge. About the size of 5
boeing 747s laid end to end, and about two stacked on top of each other. It was anywhere from 300 to 600 feet above the ground.
I first thought it was one of the new super jets I've heard about that was flying low to land at the local airport. But as I took a closer look, I
noticed two things that jumped out at me as very odd, other than the size:
1. It had haze surrounding it, a very wispy haze, like a greyish fog. You could see the front of it fairly clearly and the back of it fairly clearly,
but just a few spots of the middle of the craft. The rest was covered by this haze.
2. When I noticed how some of it I could clearly see and not others, my eyes were drawn to the "rear" of the craft(the back of the object in
relation to its movement). The object was moving but the haze seemed to stay static, never allowing me to see the other parts of the ship. The ship
was moving about 40-60 MPH, from left to right across the road. Most importantly, I could easily tell it did not have a huge tail on it, like all
large jets like 747 do.
I had to take my turn off the highway, the turnoff does a complete 180 while climbing up about a 30 foot hill and puts me on a decent size hill above
the highway I was just one. The top of this hill is the highest point in about a 5 mile radius, and I could see well into the horizon. 6-9 seconds
elapsed from the time I took my turn off the highway and got to the top of the hill. I looked frantically to the left and to the right and in my rear
view mirror to find the caft again now that I had stopped. I saw nothing. Then I completely whirled around in my seat to see averywhere around the car
to find it anywere. I saw ntohing. It was gone. I peaked my head out of my window which was 3/4 of the way down to look straight up and saw nothing.
Then it dawned on me that this entire time I could not hear anything from the craft! This blew me away, as now I knew there was no way this was a
plane, though perhaps it was a huge deflated blimp.
When I got home I told my roomate about it, and he thought I was kidding... until I started calling the airlines at the airport. I called all 3 of the
airlines that fly out that airport, which I was told was the only traffic ever going in and out of the airport and I asked them if that had any carft
landing or leaving in the last hour(it had happened 20-30 mins prior). Nothing. So I asked the last 2 hours. Still nothing. I think called the
security at the airport and asked if they could hear planes take off or land out there, and he laughed and said "of course we can" and I asked him
if he had heard any planes land or take off in the last hour or two. He said no, he hadn't.
IT happened at about 2-3 clock in the afternoon. The sky was fairly overcast, but overcast with those very high and wispy clouds. Cirus clouds? Other
than that it was a clear day, though a little gloomy as the clouds blocked a decent bit of the sun light.
I had no idea who to call about the possibility of some kind of blimp. We only have one airport. The police station did not know either. Even though
the possibility of it being a blimp I think are pretty tiny given its many oddities.
