President Bush's satisfactory rating...

How would you rate the president on a scale of 1-5. One is the worst, while five, is the best possible rating. When you make your rating, please explain the reason that you gave that particular rating to him.

I would have to give him a "3". I gave him that rating because I don't feel that he's done too bad of a job, but I also believe that there is plenty of room for him to improve. He recieved one point for the fact that he's doing something about terrorism, I gave him another because he took Saddam out of control of Iraq, and he captured him. And the third point was becuase I believe he will end up finding Ossama Bin Laden, and he will be able to stop the terrorist groups from threatening world peace anymore than they have already done.

Some things that he could improve on would be: his foreign policy, his handling of the economy, the fact that he's pretty much a warmonger...in fact, I used to say that "W" in George W Bush stood for Warmonger .

Yeah, I know what you mean. I forgot to mention another thing that I don't like about Bush, it is that damned patriot act. Where the Government can spy on you and stuff, if you ask me thats a big load of crap that just oppreses us more than we are already. Maybe he'd get some better ratings if he didn't pass so many stupid acts/laws. The patriot act is pointless...

I like his foregin policy work as well as his domestics/economic. He is a good man I feel, actually has morals and positions, and has vision. Alot better then some of the other spineless political trash out there. Oh and yay defense spending !

we needed the defence spending afetr that pussy clinton down sized our military. what the hell is that anyways. we need to have the most technologically advanced military in the world. when some country comes out with something nice, we need to make something thats better than that.

If it truly was defense spending that would be different. I dont know about you but i dont see much defense on the border,defense at the harbors,defense at points of entry. I do see a lot of attack spending though and thats why he gets a 0.

Once again, the only way to protect the borders are with troops and as I have pointed out to you in other threads, its democrats like you that keep that from happening. And harbor defense?! are you serious, have you seen how much the coast guard has had its budget ramped up and how many civilian merchant ships they have helping them. And there is no such thing as attack spending, the wars that are on going are being fought with the same defense spending you claim doesnt exist.

His deficit spending is horribly confusing. His tax cuts are fantastic. His foreign policy is disgusting. SonsOfLiberty, where are the benefits of Bush's foreign policy initiatives? Come on, you wonder why America is threatened by terrorists? It's the foreign policy. Wonder why Americans are loathed the world over? Foreign policy; and although it was bad under Clinton, it's hell right now. Who would be the best judge of American foreign policy but the foreigners? They hate us. 'Nuff said. He jacked up tariffs on steel (like a socialist) then lowered them when there was an outcry. He backed out of numerous environmental pacts and he acts unilaterally.

I don't see how Bush's foreign policy is something to give him credit for. It's absolutely appalling. Bush's foreign policy and his three year campaign of fear to jusitfy job creationism in the wrong sectors (Homeland Security? Prison system?), that darn (Patriot) act. I know it was voted on by congress but still, the thing went through under his administration. Foreign policy was GOOD? How? I don't understand.

Hmm....lets tally it up...

1. He's taken us from a budget surplus, to the largest deficit in history, in just one term....

2. He's made us into an international disgrace, from being the most powerful nation on Earth, so much so, that Americans travelling abroad claim they're from Canada!

3. His foreign policies are about inches away from us starting WWIII (some would even argue he already did)...

4. He's failed to ensure the decline of the dollar against the threat of the Euro.

5. He's a frickin' idiot, and a laughing stock. The man "supposedly" graduated from an Ivy League school (certainly didn't earn that degree), yet obviously has the linguistic skills of a 5th grader.... And THIS is our face to the world???

I'd have to issue him a big fat [size=10]1

If he wasn't such an Ideolouge, he would have done the smart thing and worked in his agenda, instead of the full reversal of all things Clinton (Peace, Prosperity, Safety).

Speaking of Ivy League faux intellect, here's how Bush is remembered by his professors at Harvard ( just think of the talent that was turned away so that his worthless hide could fill a seat & his 'resume' could appeal to the sheeple one day):
