Well, it seems those poor people in Iowa are fighting a losing battle with failing levees, and increasingly higher water levels. But someone is going
to make a buck on their misfortune. Yes, those corn middle-men, and market speculators are going to make big profits off the reduced corn crop. Good
old - Supply and Demand Economics. So, stand by for higher cornmeal prices, higher food prices in general - since just about everything made these
days, contains high frutose corn syrup. So, beat them to the punch, buy a big bag of cornmeal and a big bag of sugar - This week ! Both will be
shooting up in price, in a matter of days. The sugar will go up, since high frutose corn syrup will be higher & harder to get. Before high frutose
corn syrup, sugar was king. For a short while it may make a comeback. The ways to make a buck in this country never cease. Misery & Misfortune
(equals) More Money for Some.... Sad but True.... So, lets all pray for those poor farmers.
