I really don't know what to make of this. Good find, i'v never seen this footage before.

As usual, I would have loved to see it shoot off but yet again we don't get to. The video ends as it begins to get interesting. Is there any more?

This has been posted here before, and there is quite a discussion about it in this thread, as well as some other videos of the same ufo.

I had a very similar sighting back in the early 80's. The difference is the object I saw was more of a brownish metal colour, it had two lights on the side, and the angle I was viewing it at left me in doubt if it was a cigar shape or the side profile of a disk. Other than that same circumstance, silent hovering object on a very clear day. And it was unresponsive to wind.

I think this video from france is legitimate, if you put "france ufo" in youtube you will probably find a second video of the same object from a diferent angle.

I think it's an electrogravitic craft, of either extraterrestrial origin or made here, possibly with secret technology inspired by the works of Tesla perhaps.

There is a tracking error at 0:11 - 0:13 in the second video when the videographer moves sideways. It's more visible in the HQ version, from the other thread.

Someone did a good motion tracking analysis here:

Fake.

No it's not fake, looks pretty real. I could careless what some guy did in a Youtube video.

Cool... I haven't figured out how to back track motion tracking but that seems pretty plausible.
Would be useful to have the author of the analysis video here

Yeah, I posted this same video a year ago to a nominal response. Most shouted blimp but it looks real to me.

You're going to have to do better than that. I won't judge a video like this from a youtube upload, so I reserve judgement untill I see a thorough analysis made of the original footage, preferably by several diferent entities.

And even then I have long ago realised that there will never be definitive proof of UFO's nature by digital or even analog film, because there will always be someone standing up, yelling fake, and people believing them, despite them being on as shaky ground debunking as the UFO footage is in the first place.

So I tend to ignore debunkers and reserve judgement till more data comes in. One thing I can garantee you, from direct personal experience, the objects themselves are real, you may successfully debunk a few cases, but their reality is undeniable. Especially when you have lived the experience, like I have.

That sort of direct knowledge cannot be sanitized.

When I saw the video for the first time last year I thought, oh well, yet another low quality YouTube video. It screamed fake to me because:
- the UFO looks 2D - a dark ellipsoid that only moves sideways, not much,
- the witnesses are staying where they are, hardly moving at all.

I was not surprised by the lack of media coverage, country people would not bother to call the police ("gendarmerie", actually) or journalists. Attracting attention is trouble. I know the countryside around Montélimar, been there two years ago. There are small villages and secluded hamlets in the forest. I can imagine witnesses calling their neighbors to take a snapshot or video but not more.

The HQ videos are impressive. Motion tracking and out of focus blur are perfect as far as I can see except in the short span where the UFO moves exactly as if it were hanging between the house and the tree. It could be a coincidence, but this is very unlikely.

How likely is it that the UFO never changes its aspect between the three videos, that it never moves towards or away from the camera, only sideways?

I don't doubt real UFOs exist, but I bet this one is a hoax.

I'm quite impressed by the footage, but I am curious as to why if it was 'hovering around for hours' why the camera person (or anyone else) didnt try and get closer?

At least it doesn't look like a VW Bug that the FOOs are starting to look like.

It might as well be authentic, taken at so many time periods.

It might even be a triangle underneath the ionized, the purple cloud,
air surrounding it. It looks so flat it might as well be the triangle.

ED: Check out the ionizing caused by a million volt coil at the PBS
page or google conical coil. An oval cloud appears above the coil.
flatten out the coil to put at the bottom of a ship and the cloud
surrounds the ship.

Excellent Point.
I would no doubt (if the filmaker were me or my friends/associates etc) have had 'hours' of footage of me/us walking around, towards, away from, under , throwing rocks at etc... such an object.

That alone says everything, as in this quote from nablator:

How likely is it that the UFO never changes its aspect between the three videos, that it never moves towards or away from the camera, only sideways?

I don't doubt real UFOs exist, but I bet this one is a hoax.

There is strange movement in pixelation at times around the image.
A sure sign of electrical activity.

I do not think that is a sign of a fake.
And think that its a stumbling block that makes them non reproducible.
I have seen many discussions on the photo work involved and
that is the apparent true test.

The effect does not seem reproducible to me from true fakes.

I think its a real UFO triangle underneath the cloud.

The stability apparently comes from being electrically connected to
the gaseous 'dark matter' that is in the atmosphere.

Thus rotating with the earth and stabilized by such a strong force,
the mechanical wind force from a far off origin causes no effect.

It looked real at first, but the video debunking it did a good job. I tend to think the UFOs on YouTube are fake unless they have been thoroughly examined. It is too easy to fake videos with computers nowadays.

BAM, all the logic I needed for this to scream fake at me. I'm glad someone else saw this. I really wish people would stop making fake videos, but really, it's unavoidable. They'll keep making them as long as people keep analyzing them, and if we don't analyze them, we aren't doing our duty for the truth. Kind of a downward spiral
.

If you can't explain the real mechanism, BAM its fake and your
fallibility is exonerated.

You are being fooled by the Illuminati and your government, give it up.

I don't care what government, except Belgium ( which may have learned
its lesson ), they are under the thumb of the science and financial
international gangsters.
