saw something weird...ufo?

hi everyone. i was sitting outside smoking a cigarette about 15 minutes ago with my husband when i looked up at the mountain and saw a bright star above it. it wasn't moving weird , it was just sitting there. i looked down, and when i looked back up it was gone. what do you guys think?

Thanks for posting your sighting...there's really not ANYTHING that can be said about it since it was of such short duration, you looked away, it was gone...could have been anything really...but keep looking
