I have been experiencing a strange time lag over the past week and it just got really bad again. When I view the 'recent posts' I see that someone has posted, but then I go to that thread, it may even take over a minute for the post to arrive. I am refreshing up the yingyang, but it changes nothing. Anyone else having this problem?

Edit: Make that several minutes!

Are you saying it takes several minutes for a page to load for you? [Edited on 4-3-2004 by SkepticOverlord]

No! The page loads fine but the new post (that I can see on the "recent post" page) is just not there. I am going on five minutes with the "end of the world" thread and cookiemonsters post.

For Example www.abovetopsecret.com...

It says the last person to post in it was CookieMonster000 but you cannot see his post yet.

Actually cookiemonster's post in the Inbred thread is not showing up either, but he has not been the only one over the past week.

Oh well just never mind then! I didn't know that there was such a thing.

If something like that IS happenng, and its not cookiemonsters posts, the trouble would be at your internet host. Probably they are caching pages on their server and you are drawing them down instead of getting a fresh page straight from ATS's server.

CTRL and F5 bypass the hosts server
