A long while ago I found this place and looked around on it. I remember a gold section or something for premium members only. It was suppose to have a lot of secret stuff in it or something. I look now and don't seem to find anything like that. Am I just thinking of something else or did it ever exist.

Your probobly talking about the RATS (really above top secret) forum, you can find in on the board home page. You'll need 5000 points to view it though.
