I was pointing this out on another thread. I had read about that when the depth is shallow the quake is more damaging, and the more intense quakes are very shallow. I also started to note that they follow the same longitude, like if one hits at 10N , another will hit somewhere along the same 10 longitude but a different lattitude.

the once in a lifetime trip my grandparents take back to their homeland before they pass away and a bloody earthquake strikes right where they were staying. i haven't heard from them yet and am really worried. I hope these "major" after schocks they are expecting aren't too bad
