On September 29, 2006, 14 United States Senators cosigned a letter to the NASA Inspector General to request a formal investigation into allegations of "political interference" with the work of scientists at NASA. In particular, the letter conveyed the Senators’ concern with apparent and "repeated instances of scientists.

USA and it's politics thinks that it's good to hide the truth from people to save economy. It reminds of the cartoon with gold and Earth being tested what is wortk more. USA certainly think it's better gold (profit) as our planet we all are living one. Fact is there are every year nastier natural disasters which are costing far more as Kyoto and any other related agreements. It's only the matter of time when changes will be too fast and West will have to face huge problems with migrations etc,...
