Are these not the light beings that are here to increase the vibration of the Earth to one of love?
These beings are here among us, just simply being, emiting love so pure its wonderful to think of.
This love is the change we need , this love will save us, it is so pure and unconditional it is a gift.

A lot of negativity was brought to this thread which is incredibly unfortunate due to the message and nature of it. Use positive intent no matter where you are and what you're doing, I see often people attacking others because they have different understandings of reality. I have not yet been able to understand why people spend energy on negative intentions.

I hope that we can at some point all understand, regardless of how we got to the understanding, that we must erase division between us for a wonderful future. We are such beautifully intelligent and creative beings, yet on a whole we are still in the same situation we have always been in. We are capable of so much more!! We need to continue to evolve our ideas, minds, and our hearts.

EDIT: I believe as time progresses we will learn more and more that Science and Spirituality go hand in hand, they need to be balanced together.

I have no chemical inbalance in my brain, if I did I would not be able to work in an internationally renouned unit would I? Id be thrown out. Yet I am not, I am a very valued member of a scientific group. One that publishes papers in the journal Nature. No my friend mad I am not.

Excellent post asmus, yes science and spirituality can go hand in hand, I am living proof. Science , spirituality, the heart and positivity..what a wonderful balance.

I was curious as to my knowledge, I was unaware of any scientist that would make a claim that the laws of physics do not apply to black holes. I recognize that your example was an off-the-cuff anecdote and that it is outside the area of your expertise.

The reason I think it is important is because I felt as if you mentioned that you were a scientist to add credibility somehow to your post, which contrasted to me with the rest of the statements in the post which were somewhat antithetical to the precepts of science.

So to respect the wishes of the OP I return to the topic with a challenge to the ascension ready.

Do any among you consider yourselves to be critical thinkers?

Is critical thought important in life?

Is it pre-requisite (as it seems to me) to check critical thought at the door in favor of ascension? If so, why? We certainly seem to possess the faculties for it...

If not, is it therefore possible to construct an argument for ascension that can withstand the rigor of critical thought and analysis?

I merely stated my profession in defense of being called a silly little kid that talks of dimensions, space and time travel that was all. No it was not to back up my claims of ascension at all, I resented being called a silly little kid.

Yes, critical thinking is important along with logic and reason. All these things is what makes us such beautiful intellectual beings. Look at ascension regarding critical thinking ect... like this...

If you were trying to explain to a person 500 years ago that theres a way to fly up into the sky to vast open space of nothingness? What would he think of you? If I were that person I'd think your f--ing crazy, I would say It's impossible.
Look at us now. We are already sending man made controllable machinery to another planet! If you look at this in this point of view, understanding ascension or dimensions now is as far fetched as flying into space 500 years ago.

If he did not answer you, I would not blame him. You are seeking a path of argument I can feel it in the very tone of your post. None of us need to prove anything to anyone but ourselves. I personally consider myself to be a critical thinker, even though my conclusions may still end up outside the realm of what most accept as logical.. it is because their point of view is different than mine and is influenced by different life experiences.

One does not need to be lacking of critical thought to be ready to ascend if that was what you were implying.

Whatever it is you seek.. I hope you find it. Until then I hope you allow others to go about their path of choice without interference. Everyone has the right to choose their path and we should all respect each others choices and let them be.

Thanks for responding in a positive way. This sort of engagement is what I am here for. Bear in mind I do not require you to agree with me, but I would enjoy increasing my understanding of how you are thinking within your framework. I am not looking to agree or disagree with the content as much as I am looking to find agreement or disagreement with your approach. To that end:

I have to point to that 500 years ago Da Vinci was drawing pictures of helicopters... but for the sake of your analogy, lets take a look:

This is a form of argument from authority. It is a tricky one to deal with as there is some legitimacy in considering the training and experience of an individual when assessing a particular claim. On the other hand, broad scientific consensus also carries the weight of authority. At the end of the day this one falls apart on the simple fact that it is possible for highly trained and practiced experts, be they scientists, the spiritual, or the ascension ready to be wrong. Ergo, speaking from authority does not make a claim true.

Another problem is that we know man space flight is actually happening. There is a gross preponderance of evidence that it is occurring all the time. There is no such common body of evidence for ascension, so linking them through that analogy is awkward. It makes it seem as if you are trying to piggy back on the credibility of manned spaced flight...

I must caution you to not stray from the positive in your posting. If by the path of argument you mean logical argumentation as a process of critical thought then you are correct.

If you are referring to argument as troll baiting, I would encourage you to re-read your last post with an honest heart.

As a self declared critical thinker you certainly should be comfortable with the lack of weight for claims to be a critical thinker in the absence of supporting evidence.

Wouldn't 'outside the realm of what most accept as logic' be another way of saying 'illogical'? In what cases does the application of critical thought employ illogic?

To illustrate what I mean by critical thought, consider:

Critical thinking has its basis in intellectual criteria that go beyond subject-matter divisions and which include: clarity, credibility, accuracy, precision, relevance, depth, breadth, logic, significance and fairness.

To me it seems that critical thought is imperative to the acquisition of 'knowledge'. It is not however as tied to 'belief'. Would it be sufficient to resolve the gap in our thread to state that some may 'believe' that ascension is happening or may happen, but that no one has 'knowledge' that it is happening.

Of course this relies on the application of rigorous discipline of thought-- might be very uncomfortable for some!

Yes, I do believe that they are here on earth but have not crossed over. I had this dream about ten years ago. Anyways thanks to the OP for posting this, because what I saw in my dream in my opinion was very real and very possible.

There was a war going on in my dream, I was either being held in a military facility or I was infiltrating it, not really sure but I was with an old friend of mine and we managed to get out of the facility with soldiers close on our tail, we ended up being in a little dirt pen, hole in the ground type thing my friend managed to escape but when I made my way up the ramp the ground sort of started to crumble beneath my feet making it difficult to escape and that was when it happened.

I was on some kind of raft and there were others on it with me I believe that we were headed south, not really sure where to exactly. But the angels that looked like hummingbirds were a bit larger than hummingbirds, I can't remember exactly but they may have been anywhere between one foot and three feet tall and they glowed an orange pink color, they were sort of translucent looking and made a very distinct unmistakeable sound that was of a very specific pitch and vibration that I will never forget, it was the most beautiful sound I have ever heard and the most beautiful sight I have ever seen, both in a dream state and in the physical world.

The war temporarily went into a halt and I could see the soldiers below looking awestruck in what they were seeing.

Hello everyone. This is my first post at ATS, although I have read threads for about a year. Thank you for ATS. Ascension would be a great gift and I would be ready. Not to say whether or not I would deserve ascension. Whether or not my personal spirituality gets me to ascension or if it just happens automatically in the next few years, then great. I'd be for it but hope my family doesn't become separated from each other as a result of the weeding out process. Also, a concern I would have would be for small children who hadn't had time to develop their spiritual characther in this lifetime. I would hope they get some dispensation.

Hi there NoAgenda welcome to ATS! I would have to say to you that children are most likely better off than most, but also the most vulnerable. Children have not been exposed to the evil ways of the world as adults it is our responsibilty to kind of keep that way, theres not much time left, our children will be the first fruit and not corrupt as most adults are these days. As an adult, just don't contribute to the ails of the earth and detatch yourself from the material world as much as you can.

From what I am observing the material world is falling apart around us, thus, it would appear that more importance is being tied to it by so many people.

Change is happening faster and faster, some people are having an increasingly difficult time adjusting to it. I see more people gaining awareness and opening their hearts than ever before, but I also see more and more people drifting further away and diving headlong into the madness.

We have so much to learn as a race, I know that in the end things will be absolutely amazing for us, but getting there is going to be difficult and it isn't going to be a smooth transition for so many. Right now we need more positivity being emitted to make this a smoother ride for all of us. People cannot be afraid to live differently and do things differently.

I have read absolutely none of the posts to this thread for one reason. Where in the hell do you come up with this stuff. I mean do you actually believe in the stuff you write. Do you really believe this. Why, Please tell me why. You have none, and I mean no backup for this, NONE!!!

I swear to all of you, I am not trying to derail this thread. You could hand me this dribble from now until, the end of everything and it would mean nothing.

You know why? Because it is not true!!! This is not what happens!!! Have you died and experienced this for yourself or are you guessing. You could not have experienced this yourself because it does not happen.

You know what, I will say this to all of you who think there is some kind of mystical realm waiting for you. Give it up. Not going to happen. Not now not ever.

Good luck to all of you who believe in this dribble, seriously, it gives you hope of some kind and that my friends is a good thing. A very good thing for all that believe and need something to hold on to. You have watched to many SG1 shows.
