NEWS: Iraq had no WMD after 1994

A report from U.N. weapons inspectors to be released today says they now believe there were no weapons of mass destruction of any significance in Iraq after 1994, according to two U.N. diplomats who have seen the document.

The report, to be outlined to the U.N. Security Council as early as Friday, is based on information gathered over more than seven years of U.N. inspections in Iraq before the 2003 war, plus postwar findings discussed publicly by Kay.

Interesting enough, everything was already gathered before war, but they still had to fight to go in to see if there was any? What's going on with this situation?

The answer should be plainly obvious to anybody reading up on the invasion that it was a desperate ploy by the United States to remain solvent. The only thing that did pan out regarding the Iraq invasion was the prediction that the U.S. would switch Iraq's petroeuro pricing to petrodollars.

Paul Wolfowitz said it himself that the WMD issue was simply a public beaurocratic reason to engage in this military action.

Ha! I knew Bush was lying his ass off all along. Just like heelstone said. This was simply a beaurocratic reason to engage in miliatary action.

Of course the UN was right, but since the might of the security council is the U.S. they couldn't do anything about it.

This most recent war is just the beginning. We now have a stronghold on the Middle East and their oil. The next thing to watch is the Chinese need for oil They will pass Japan this year as the second largest inporter of oil. Russia has plenty of oil for now, so look for the struggle to be between the U.S and China.
