I cook, fix, and build, so yeah, i'm patiently awaiting doomsday afternoon.
I cook 4 star cuisine. Give me a pile or field of raw ingredients and i'll whip up a whole variety of stuff. I'll gladly run the mess hall when
it comes to it. I've managed kitchens before and can lead a team of cooks effectively.
I'll fix it. Somehow. I'll make it work better than they did on junkyard wars too. I fix stuff, solve problems, reverse and re-engineer
stuff.
I also build custom bicycles, motorized gas or electric, 150mpg miniature mad max machines. I can work in the garage when i'm not cooking, I can do
metalwork, welding, bonded composites, wood, etc. I can wrench on engines, troubleshoot electric circuits, and keep vehicles and equipment
maintained. I also occasionally work building houses if i desire a more strenuous activity. I can frame up a structure quick, and also as in the
kitchen, lead a crew to erecting buildings.
I've had many jobs in a lot of different areas, from overhead imagery specialist to pulling weeds on a small farm, and all have given me a diverse
set of skills.
I'm also working on reducing my belongings down to what i can carry on bike or foot, and i'm almost there. I've got about a 3' square closet
full of stuff left and that pile is rapidly diminishing to nothing more than my "combat"pack, my bikes/boards. tools, and food. If it happened
right this minute i'm a 5 minute run through good cover from the moment i grab my pack to when i disappear over the ridgeline into the deep of the
backcountry.
I also have a network of friends and family living off the grid in the mountains
Like i said right now, i'm just waiting patiently and watching it all crumble.
