UFO Casebook AND Open Minds forums currently unavailable from Brisbane, Australia.

It's 09:50 and neither of the above fora are currently contactable from Brisbane, Australia. Severed cable, perhaps, or just co-incidence?

I can access both of those websites as of now and are you still having probs or was it just your IP down?.

I tried to log on to the CaseBook forum earlier this morning and was unable to.
Give me one second to check again here...

OK, at 5:00pm (PST) I'm still unable to even get the forum up.. and although I can get the home page of OM to come up, I can still not get in to the forum.

Both pages reflect the same thing:

The server at #.com is taking too long to respond.

Yup... must be an East coast thing.. It's 10:20 now and am still getting the "...too long to respond" messages. We'll prbably read on the news how a contruction worker has chopped the cable in two with a backhoe... ;-)

I'm having trouble with Open Minds Forum, but not UFO Case Book site.

If your IP is working then they maybe doing site maintenance or having problems with thier IP's (Internet Provider servers)

I can't get either forum, timing out.
I'm in New England USA.
I'm smell a conspiracy
I wonder if something got posted that wasn't supposed to come out yet?

Explosion and Fire has damaged the servers at the proboards host.
Servers are being replaced.
Hope they got a backup.

G'day, DYST. Wow. Do you have any more detail? I didn't know both boads were hosted from the same location. I hope nobody was hurt. Is there any explanation as yet?

Unable to login to OMF getting username password incorrect, on link from last post.

The forums have been down since friday night about 11 pm here in the Northest. Still can't open the forums but can acces the main page!
