I think this kind of information is "leaked" there because it is safer. Anyone remember the first Men in Black movie? Tommy Lee Jones said that a person is rational and logical; but people are irrational and dangerous (paraphrasing, of course). The government realizes this, so rather than do what the people want, they circumvent us by making sure that we are completely in the dark until it is too late.

Of course, there are those of us who seek out this information, but we are few in numbers.

As for a "surprise" attack happening, I don't see it coming. The US has made life better for more Muslims than it has destroyed. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad blows a lot of smoke and personally I'm happy IF George Bush is giving some back rather than bombing. This whole thing doesn't make sense if you think about it. We don't have an interest in attacking Iran EXCEPT if we think Iran is going to start throwing bombs first. As far as I know, they don't have that capability YET.

So you enjoy going to battle blind. You make it seem like Iran is evil and yet you know history? You do remember US role in the Iranian revolution right?
So now when Iran refuses to bow down to the US president they are evil and must be bombed! Why do you even want to go to war with them when as far as you know they do not have the capabilities to nuke Israel?

Well, there are some for bombing Iran and those that are not . Sure Iran has had power problems throughout their country. This has been known for some time, and they have been trying to solve this problem to bring their country into the modern age for the past 60 years. To bomb Iran is not what worries me . Iran is a country riddled with earthquakes; very major ones at that. Now Iran has Nuclear Reactors, combine that with the many earthquakes they have and you will have one big world disaster. What fool of a leader would want to build Nuclear Reactors in a county that has a history of major earthquakes. There can only be one answer to that and it’s not for power generation but pure power as a country. Still the fact remains Earthquakes and nuclear reactors are not a good combination. Iran is also taking instruction from the Russians we all know what happened at Chernobyl. So If the U.S. does not bomb them mother nature will step in. It’s only a matter of time.

Well we are losing a lot of money because Bush decided to attack Iraq. How awesome of us! Maybe we should keep lying to ourselves that it is more peaceful now then before. Like I said, take it from someone who has been to Iraq before and recently. Not the news that are lying about the surge working and us restoring what the Iraqi people want.

A single Airstrike against a Softtarget which estimated 90k soldiers? What is it good for? Pre-Invasion style would be more against Anti-Air, Tanks, Rocketlaunch Sites, Radar, Communication. This report makes absolute no sense and sounds bogus to me.

Iraq is doing better every day. Since years most cities now have full operational hospitals, Schools, Water and no fear of a dictatorship. Dont judge from what you see on CNN or FOX. Sure, enemies still there and bombing innocent people, but thats nothing new. Look to Irland as a example.

Most of iraqies are glad we are there. Ive done 2 tours and met many people, aswell anti-american but even they say, that the current situation is better then with sadam.

Yeah, I'm going to trust the "advice" of Dr. Mamdouh Salameh. Sounds like someone on OPEC's payroll anyway.....oh, and thats a Muslim sounding name. So his "opinion" might be a little slanted.
So, if not for the Iraq War, why is OPEC bending over countries that AREN'T in Iraq right now? A barrel of oil is not priced JUST for the US.

And, I'll say this one last time. Cut the crap with "BUSH DECIDED" to attack Iraq. The Congress approved it as well! (As well as with the approval of other world governments although that doesn't really matter) You act as if Bush did this alone when he did NOT.

Terrorists are not muslims, it's against the laws of islam.

If your thinking in that way, I could say all americans are terrorists because of their wars, crimes etc I could blame you personally for the deaths of people, which of course isn't true and is wrong to say so, because you personally probably didn't get involved in any killings.

If a few vegetarians started to eat meat, would they still be a vegetarian?
If a few muslims became terrorists and killed innocent people and themselves, would they still be muslim? Not really a good muslim at all, just really really crazy!
