Lynnette Clark has a long history with the A.K.I.P., which includes a friendship with Joe Vogler who was the party's founder. Mr. Vogler died under mysterious circumstances in 1993. During this discussion, Clark talks about life in Territorial Alaska, as well as her role in contemporary politics. It's not easy to start or maintain a third party in America. The Picard Maneuver is a sudden acceleration to Warp Nine in order to confuse an enemy ships censors . After the sudden acceleration two identical ships appear on the opposing ships censors.

I have friends in AK. The only other thing I can think of after reviewing script is the irony that Alaskans gas prices are through the roof while Prudhoe Bay and the oil pipeline lies in their collective backyards. Too bad most of that oil goes to Japan.

There's a lot going on in Alaska. Martin and I plan on getting more interviews from that part of the world. WE've got at least one Canadian interivew that's in the works. Send us a u2 if you can help us get a good interview. We're not proud. We'll take the help.

Well, I read somewhere that the crew of ST:TNG dubbed Patrick Stewart's habit of smartly straightening his shirt when he stands up as "the Picard Maneuver".

You've just identified the second answer that I would've accepted for the contest. I'll talk to Martin, and we'll have a look at dredging up more Star Trek trivia.

I have another suggestion for a special guest on the AP show . This person should have a wider appeal then the last name I put forward . IMO Robert McNamara would be a very interesting show guest in light of the Iraq war .

McNamara (is he still alive?) would be an interesting guest, but he hasn't spoken publically much since he wrote his book some years ago where he claimed to have known that Vietnam was a lost cause.

The concensus seems to be that he wrote that in order to claim that he was not an idiot ("I knew it was a mistake at the time. See? I'm no fool!"), but that it only resulted in accusations of amorality ("If you knew it was a no-win situation at the time then why did you continue it, fool?").

My guess is McNamara wants nothing more to do with answering questions.

I can't find any contact information for McNamara. I would imagine that his advanced age has taken him out of the public eye. As Tuning Spork says, he may very well want to be left alone. And before you ask...yes...I did look for Rummy. We can't handle his speaking fees.

Martin and I appreciate the help. Keep the ideas coming. Ask around. You may be surprised at who you know. If you find a good interview, let us know.

Tommorrow (Monday) is our Memorial Day here in the U.S. the AP Show comes out once a week, so we can't really do much in a timely fashion to honor our men and women in uniform.

The AP Show is possible because our freedom to speak has been defended. As an American, I can say what I want, when I want, because others have paid for that priviledge with their lives.

If I did not live in america, I would come to America. Because I do live in this country, I will take some time out of my busy day tomorrow for a few moments of silence to be thankful for The AP Show, and all of my other many blessings.
