This interception was made on august 6th, a few days after the Gulf of Tonkin
Incident. The Gulf of Tonkin Incident caused the first large-scale involvement of U.S. armed forces in Vietnam.

i'm sorry, but i'm not quite understanding the importance of posting these documents here. while it's an interesting piece of history, the
government, and the personal involved, come out years ago, and admitted that the gulf of tonkin incident never took place. that said, i appreciate the
time, money, and effort put forth to retrieve these documents.
