he took a lie detector test and failed

fact or faked called him out and he broke down and pretty much admitted he faked it all

I'll need to watch all the videos to come to a full conclusion, but the eye blinking does look fake to me. Don't know why exactly, but it looks like the eye has been CGI'd onto the brown blob. Definitely worth viewing though; going to watch the whole series. Thanks!

Very true. Last night I listened to a rebroadcast of coast to coast and Art Bell sounded very convinced of this story. Sadly the evidence presented (couple of pictures) is flimsy at best. If not a hoax then the story falls into the heavily populated "not groundbreaking enough" category. It seems the narrative remains as such, a simple story. Thank you for the response.

I've been doing a bit of research on this case lately. The conclusion I've come to, for now at least, is that this case may be a hoax, but I'm still not convinced either way. Sure, Reed could have hired a Hollywood artist to create a very believable dummy head than rigged up some animatronics or whatever they do for the eyes. He would have had to pay some good money out of pocket for that though. If it is a hoax, I think they did a pretty good job with those eyes blinking. That is some E.T. quality work right there. E.T. (the film) is regarded as having some of the best animatronics ever put to film, and the life-like nature of the blinking eyes on Reed's alien matches that quality, IMO.

So, I think it is indeed possible that the dead alien was faked, but I'm not fully convinced that it was, due to it's incredibly life like nature.

The sci-fi channel show, fact or faked, did an okay job trying to expose Reed as a hoax, but I wasn't fully convinced by them either. The only really good data they managed to attain was the computer analysis of his voice. But I've read that such systems aren't completely accurate, and they could have faked the results if they had an agenda to push. In my opinion, Reed sounds genuine in the interviews that I've seen and/or heard.. But, he could just be a really good con-man.

So over all, It could go either way in regards to Reed's validity. Beyond the things I've mentioned, all I've really been able to find is hearsay. But I really want to get to the bottom of this, not because I want it to be true (well, part of me does, hehe) but because I just want to know the truth, whatever that may be.

I've recently subscribed to Richard Dolan's facebook page. For those who don't know, Richard Dolan is one of the most respected and authentic UFO researchers out there. I trust his research more than anyone else in the field that I've seen. A few hours ago I made a post on his Facebook wall asking if he had done any research on the Reed story. I'm eagerly awaiting his response and will post it when (and if) he responds back to me.

someone mentioned fact or faked. that program is a JOKE! i've seen one episode (just so happens to be the one with this particular case), and there are a couple of things i would like to say about that show, lol!

1. everyone can download some visual themes, and add a text saying "FALSE". he never took a lie detector test on the program. what they used was some sort of program, that should supposedly be able to HEAR if he was telling the truth.

2. if they can make a video, which somehow seems to be similar to the original... they are pretty much convinced its fake. everyone can make a video of ww2... must mean it never happened!

that said, i DO think its a hoax. for the same reason, im having trouble believing in ANY free energy story (thats for another thread, though). lets say, you knocked out an alien in the woods... personally, i would DRAG that bastard up the street for EVERYONE to see, and do all that # on the middle of the road. i think we can be sure it would attract attention.. how about taking the body to NY and do it there, in the middle of the street? why do people not do this? its simple... its hoaxed!

and if not, this guy is pathetic
