Japanese Astronomers expect alien message by 2015

basically a message was sent to the Altair solar system around 1983, they estimated that the message would have reached the system by 1999. The most likely time of a response would be 2015.

They are both hopeful and skeptical about recieving a return message.

"I believe aliens exist, but they are difficult to find. We haven't even observed any planets around Altair, so it is highly unlikely we will receive a response,"

Either way, I doubt they will get a response. And ear would have to be in the right place, at just the right time, with the right equipment and right understanding in order for it to be received I think. The chances are so slim to none I'm leaning towards none on this one
