things we humains can't explain

ever had that feeling that you've done something before...a feeling you can't explain...Degavu...that is just one thing we can't explain.....some say it is god giving you a second chance...some say you dream what happins the next day...who knows..
or maby you had a feeling...one you could not explain...a hunch something bad was going to happin...
or think you saw something....a shadow..an aura...a ghost...something paranormal...or maby just something flash in the corner of you eye..
maby the feeling you being wached..
a chill...runing up your spine...the prickle of the hairs on you neck rising..
..like something is coming..something we don't know...something there hidding from us...
...or maby....its already here ....

There are somethings we humains can't explain....know anything else?

All deja vu is is feeling a point in your life where you knew something was destined to happen the way it was, however, makeing certain changes throughout your life through self recollection and personal value changes can manipulate the deja vu to where you feel more...... ok with it, however, if you haven't made those changes within yourself, then you won't feel okay with it.

ok...so we can explain what a degavu is....

Supposedly, deja vu is where one side of your brain is just a second or two slower then the other side for a very short amount of time.

I however, do not believe this 100%. I feel like I had a dream about something simular months ago and the thing happens. I rarely feel as though it just recently happened.

I know one thing us humains can't explain; why people don't understand that the red line under a word means that it is spelled wrong. Bad grammar, thats OK, but when you are given help in order too spell a word properly, there should be nearly no chance of stuffing it up! Is this how lazy the world is becoming?

Cool topic Zaharda. I often wondred what deja vu was. I had it alot when I was a child, very vividly. I still have it as an adult too. The feeling I get when it happens is bizzare because while its happening I always feel as though in some strange way everything is moving slower than usual and I know what is going to be said next on the tv, or whose gonna talk or move next, its even happened in places I know for sure I've never been.

I get deja vu from time to time and it's weirder and weirder each time.

It can really throw me off, because I'm standing there thinking, wait a minute, this has happened before.

It's best that there are things we can't explain though, keeps us on our toes.

This is how I always experiance deja vu, I could be somewere and suddenly I know I have dreamed about this, months to a year or two ago, never day after.

I like to think that in our unconcious sleep state we can't control the slight telepathic "gene"(?) that naturally resides in us, but when were awake we don't know (well atleast most of us) how to control/use it.

It could all just be a trick of the mind though.

Hello, I was skimming through the threads hoping to stumble across something or some sort of info that will help me to better understand my circumstances.

Over the past year I've gone through some shifts in my life... one of them was/is the sense of somehow seeing or understanding things without actually knowing why... premonitions, strong sense of urgency, emotions, etc.

Over the past few months, I do believe I catch glimpses of things I can not see, sense things or a presence of something I can not see and a few times, I've felt something that I can not see.

I am not alone in this. My children were aware of it first. We speak in metaphors and something is everything and reality is imagination. I think many times throughout the day, that I might be going crazy... other times I am so very convinced that what I can actually see or sense is only the beginning of so much, much more and that once that door is opened up to me, it'll change my life forever!

I happen to like your topic and I do agree about the spellcheck on ATS! Thanks much!!

i don't believe that explanation at all. I've had dreams, recounted my dreams to a friend in high detail. Then, maybe a week later, one part of that dream will play out in my real life. It's very freaky.

Or I'll do something in real life, but then find myself in the exact same scenario a few months later. Since I can recount when it last happened, it's not my brain "glitching".

Premonitions.........

Yesterday I was at a 4 way stop and I new that the car coming from my right was going to blow thru the stop sign. It did and I saved myself a world of hurt.

Another thing we humans can't explain........

Why people talk on their cell phones while driving and blow thru stop signs.

or maybe you saw that the person was on a cellphone and your subconscious did THIS

people who drive with cellphones= bad drivers
bad drivers= people who blow through stop signs

Very true, but I had the premonition long before I could see the yahoo on the phone.

Hi, My names kristina mora and I'm only nineteen years old. I had a dream last night that scared me more then any dream ever has. If I have a nightmare I get kinda scared but go bavk to sleep. last night I stayed up till morning. I don't remember all of it but i thought I was still awake for most of it. I was in my room looking around seeeing flashes of things appear in front of my eyes. figures apprering in front of me withan old fashioned cross smack in the center. And a scary demon presence in the room. I opened my eyes and the flashing people were still their same with the cross as well as the presence. after 15 minutes of being to scared to move. I went somwhere else......feeling as though I was being follwed and watched. Then I heard things around me...people talking...things moving.nobody there to do any of it . all are still asleep. I had to get an inhailer I couldn't breath. I can't even type this letter without having the same feelings. without looking over my shoulder. The presence in my dream, now in my wakeing state....scares me. what does this mean? why am I so afraid?

I think Deja Vu is when your unconcious brain puts things together like a puzzle, to figure out the future, But if we're talking like seeing months or years into the future then it's probaly a gift from god. I usally see four years into the future So I'm special lol
