Gore ties cyclone to warming

www.citizensugar.com

Al Gore says that the cyclone in Myanmar is a result of global warming. He told NPR yesterday:

And as we’re talking today, Terry, the death count in Myanmar from the cyclone that hit there yesterday has been rising from 15,000 to way on up there to much higher numbers now being speculated. And last year a catastrophic storm from last fall hit Bangladesh. The year before, the strongest cyclone in more than 50 years hit China – and we’re seeing consequences that scientists have long predicted might be associated with continued global warming.

That’s why Al Gore gets paid the big bucks and wins the Nobel Prize.

Not because he is correct about global warming but because he is able to get press and mileage about a theory that many scientists don’t buy into simply for who he is.

Wow, all our problems have been solved, global warming is the problem for everything. The fact that those kind of cataclysmic natural disasters have occurred for the last few thousands years and are documented has nothing to do with anything.

Go Al, and be sure to turn off your lights when you leave your house, those 6,000 dollar energy bills you been paying every month are a killer.

Al Gore ties everything to "Global Warming" including his own flatulence. He would say an Ice Age is caused by Global Warming. And probably has.

Gore can find a way to tie everything to global warming. Pancakes not rising fluffy enough? Global warming.

Gore runs the very serious risk of over-exposing himself (not in that way
).

People will get fed up, tired and annoyed of his holier than thou, whinging attitude that determines global warming as the cause for all natural disasters.

Funny how this man is taken so seriously when he has little, if any, scientific credentials.

It has always irked me that he got the Nobel Peace Prize, when even Gandhi didnt... and Gandhi was peace incarnate!

I would ignore Gore's mad comments. He has chosen a good cause, but he is going about it all the wrong way. Instead of focusing on the energy self-reliance side of things, he is chastising people who drive cars. The solution to global warming is scientific research, not destroying our way of life to compensate for what may well be a natural phenomenon.
