It's a fictional mental disorder from the film
Armageddon.
'Feelings of' those things are not, by themselves diagnostic of 'dementia', which is a progressive decline in cognitive function.
There were reports of Mir Astronauts (Russian) that had 'problems', but so far, the longest stay has been a number of months and there were other
people with the Astronaut at the time.
In the Russian experiment in a simulated Mars mission, done in an isolated structure on the ground, people were 'acting crazy' after only a few
months. But temporary behavior isn't the same as true dementia.
