Why is it a scam when you can get $2000 rebates and the gas card? To me that says you are coming out ahead then! Then throw on the lifetime powertrain warranty. Who else in the industry can match it?

That is a awesome deal. Suppose it does go up to 5-6 dollars a gallon. Whoever gambled on this car, would of have hit the jackpot!!

of 87-octane regular gasoline,

Your petrol is only 87 octane? No wonder it is so cheep and your cars don't last all that long.

We use 91 octane for our regular unleaded and was at AUD$1.41 a litre at my work today.

Chysler will protect themselves against any significant uptick in the price of oil by simply buying call options. This is a win-win deal for them.

Hummmm, I'm guessing they have some loophole in the fine print that will let them off the hook down the road, when the prices really skyrocket.

I bought one of their vehicles in '88 when they were advertising '7-70 bumper to bumper' ( 7 years or 70 thousand miles) warranties.........when I needed a power train repair in '90 at 12,000 miles, the dealer informed me that I did not qualify for the warranty repair because I had not purchased an additional warranty at the 2-year point!!

Needless to say, they had failed to mention that in their ads, or at the time of purchase!!
