LYON, France - Interpol launched a worldwide appeal to the public Tuesday to help identify a man suspected of sexually abusing young boys from Southeast Asia — hoping the rare move will lead to a quick arrest.

Let's find this guy!

Please don't let this thread die for at least 1 day.

I feel this is an important thing to do!

I saw this today on the news.

They are publishing his photo because of the success a similar publishing had in a previous case last year.

Only eight hours after publishing the photo they had a phone call saying who he was, and the next day they had three more people confirming the information from the previous day.

The informations lead to the arrest of that paedophile, so they are now using the same method.

I realize that, just thought I would bring it here as well. Can't hurt! The more people seeing this, the better.

I didn't meant to say that this was redundant, on the contrary, the exit of this strategy is based on the number of people who see his photo.

My intention was only to say that at least here in Europe this has appeared on at least one news network, Euronews, so the possibilities of someone knowing him are even bigger than they were on the first occasion the Interpol asked for public help.

The only thing that keeps me from sending e-mails with his photo is the fact that I think that it wouldn't be an efficient way of doing things.

That is not the person that the Interpol is looking for, and you most certainly know it, so I think that your post is just misleading and possibly offensive to the person on the photo.

And you know (or at least you should know) that it is against the T&C to post something that you know is not true.

This is the guy that Interpol is looking for.

He was found and arrested.

LYON, France – Within 48 hours of INTERPOL’s global appeal to the public, the prime suspect, Wayne Nelson Corliss, 58, from Union City, New Jersey, who was photographed sexually abusing young children in Southeast Asia in images distributed on the Internet was identified, located and arrested in Union City by Special Agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) based in Newark, New Jersey.

There is also a thread on the "Other Current Events" forum about his arrest, but I thought I should put it here too.

If they can get them as fast as this, I think they should start using more this type of approach, the only problem I see with this is that the paedophiles would probably become more cautious instead of less active.
