Just found this story. Probably just a shooting star but pretty cool non-the-less.

www.kait8.com...

A link to the video is on the page.

Now that is interesting.

In my personal under qualified opinion i would push towards some sort of electrical phenomenon.

Definatly a UFO.

The two flashes followed by the moving light very interesting indeed thank you very much Blueracer !

Kind off remind's me about this theory below.

The luminescence in various colours around the UFO (apparently shape depends on UFO's shape as well as its current maneuver, so the UFO's outline as seen by external observer can change), is due to ionization of surrounding air (much like what happens in neon-lamps), referred to as "UFO plasma sheath". This is caused by the radiation emitted by the UFO, which is probably a secondary effect of the propulsion system and/or power plant. Brightness/color changes seem to be related with thrust/acceleration.

Make's you wonder !

Take care.

Regards
Lee

Nice find BTW.

Here is a screen capture of the blue flash.

The white dot above the blue flash seems to only be there in
sync with blue flash. The odd thing is the reflection
in the water of the white dot is not as symetrical as the reflection of the blue flash(or the other lights). Probably nothing though considering all the factors at play. Water, angle, optics, distortion etc.

I thought that was amazing! I don't understand the previous reply saying it was electrical. It seems very similar to Texas.

It looked very much like a meteor to me. Not all meteors have tails, and larger ones can last for a long time and be of variable brightness (such as this one) as the break-up in the atmosphere. I'm a meteor enthusiast who has been lucky enough to see several large meteors such as this (including two that eventually made it to the ground) plus thousands of smaller ones. I suppose it is technically a UFO since you can't verify the fact that it's a meteor solely from this video, but there is also no reason to rule out 'meteor' either.

The bottom line is that it looks like a classic "relatively large" meteor -- beautiful and rare, but not totally unheard of.

The great thing about this story was the context of the meteor sighting -- at a memorial service for her son (among others). I'm sure the fact that this meteor appeared during the part of the service that her late son's name was called is personally meaningful to Mr. and Mrs. Warner...I'm sure this is something that will stick with them for the rest of their lives because of this context.

It's my pleasure to pass along something that happened in my area. I didn't figure it'd get any exposure if I didn't.
