Fake Movie Poster Photo Competition

Welcome to Below Top Secret's Fake Movie Poster Competition!

It has been some time since we have had a photo competition on BTS but it is my pleasure to announce our next installment.

As of this moment, the competition has begun! It shall run until June 13th, 2008 at 12:00AM PST. At that point, the competition will be closed and the judges will take over. Each submission will be judged on different aspects, and our winner(s) will be announced.

Our two primary concerns for judging will be:

Artistic Ability

Comedic/Conspiracy approach

For this competition, we are going to temporarily retire the "Lightweight" and "Heavyweight" divisions, and try another approach. What we are going to go with for this competition is two divisions.

Comedy

Conspiracy

The overall theme of your submission should be either comedic or a conspiracy.

Members are permitted to submit one entry per category. (So a participant can submit a comedic submission and a conspiracy submission) Any entries after the fact will not be eligible for judging.

Images that break the Terms & Conditions Of Use will be removed and the member will be disqualified from the contest.

Images shall not exceed 400x600 pixels.

Images submitted after the deadline will not be accepted

Submissions must indicate whether it is a "Comedic" or "Conspiracy" entry. Even if it is obvious, it must be indicated within the post. I will try to help out with edits and u2u where possible, but at the time of judging if an entry lacks clarification, it will not be eligible for judging.

Staff members who submit an entry, are eligible to be judged. However, in the instance where a staff member wins a competition, the member with next highest score will be rewarded with the same point total.

Awards

Winners of each division will be issued 10,000 BTS points.

When the competition closes, additional points will be issued to each entry as deemed by our judges.

 

 

Judging

Five anonymous staff members will be selected to judge the competition. Each will offer a score out of ten. Half of this score is based on artistic ability, and the other half is based on the relevance to the category. After compiling the score from each judge, we will then turn to the number of stars each entry has accumulated and add it to it's total.

So YOU the member can JUDGE each entry as well.

Be SURE to star the worthy entries.
