New U.S. Micro-Robots Getting Ready to Fight Terrorism

This technology will be the next thing that has the militaries of the world scrambling to catch up.

The article contains a short video of what BAE is working on - micro-robots that resemble insects for surveillance, etc. Won't be long (already happening?) before iranian supplied terrorists planting the next IED have to worry about whether that is really a spider over there, or a micro-robot sending their GPS coordinates to the missile already on its way down to them.

BAESystems is one of the largest North American military contracters. Yeah they happen to have a UK headquarters, that is correct. Supposedly though no technology transfer of US secrets is allowed.

I feel safer already

Although, I'm probably more likely to be killed by an actual insect or spider than a terrorist.

Actually, they are "US micro robots". BAe was given a contract by the United States, as was mentioned, there will be not technology transfer without US approval.
