CNN: Ron Paul 'Revolution' Book #1 at Amazon.com

politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com

“The Revolution: A Manifesto”, released earlier this month, is currently No. 1 on the Web site’s list of top sellers, besting even Oprah’s latest Book Club selection.

“Despite a media blackout, this septuagenarian physician-turned-congressman sparked a movement that has attracted a legion of young, dedicated, enthusiastic supporters.... a phenomenon that has amazed veteran political observers and made more than one political rival envious...."

I think this is a good method of how-to-know a political candidate. Anybody who cries foul at "trying to sell books," I have no empathy for; Paul presents solutions for policy/establishments running amok with the people's well-being.

i think it's pretty amazing and strange that ron whom was by all means "silenced" in the political spotlight has a book that's #1 on the charts. kind of makes you go hmmmm....

Flag and star. As things get worse with the current 3 running for president, maybe he is getting some attention. I almost bought the book. Nice discount Amazon.com was offering.

I only wonder what he will do with the money.... Must be getting massive amounts, and didn't he have like 4 million from his presidential run that he never spent?

The attention this book is getting gives me hope for America. As opposed to none, and feeling sorry for what we are leaving future generations to deal with.

I love it. I am definitely going to get this book. Great to see this much positive thinking.

I bought it. Haven't read more than the first twenty pages or so but it's really good. I'm gonna start threads on the couple other boards I'm on about it, maybe someone who doesn't know will find out about Ron Paul. Gotta try and get the word out, even if no one listens to me.

I starred and Flagged this.

The MSM and "Electoral Decidees" may be able to black ball him, but the populace knows how important his message is...He is a dying breed in the land of the ever-corrupt scum pool that is the U.S. Gov.

Not to trivialize anything Ron Paul has done, but he is a non-factor to those in power. His book deal, being #1 on the best-seller list, and Oprah's book endorsement is no surprise. All of this done to pacify unruly citizens. For all I know Paul struck a deal and all he had to do was just go away and not be a thorn anymore. It's easier to buy a guy like that than to use the resources to take it to the next level.

Peace

You misunderstood this part:

“The Revolution: A Manifesto”, released earlier this month, is currently No. 1 on the Web site’s list of top sellers, besting even Oprah’s latest Book Club selection.

Here's the Amazon.com 'Top 100' list link, Oprah's selection for the month is listed at number three; and that misunderstanding probably could cause some confusion since Winfrey obviously supports B Obama:

Amazon Top 100 List

....preemptive edit: yeah, it's obvious, using the search feature on her site shows 104 results for BO, whereas R Paul -- none.

Excuse me Dr. Love, "its easier to buy a guy like that" .... stop right there. A guyLike WHAT exactly? Please tell me. Cause Ron Paul sat in Congress for the last 20 years being the only guy who would vote "no" when the rest of the sheep would vote "yes". No matter how they tried, he stuck to his constitution guns. It got to the point where they wouldn't even bother knocking on his door if they knew it was against the Constitution.

Get a clue, then talk. Jeez.

Here's a video of Ron Paul on Wolf Blizter earlier today talking about why he doesn't support John McCain, his book, etc.:

I just find it hard to believe that Paul is capable of 'striking a deal'.
I mean, a deal for what ?.., I'd be willing to bet he can't be bought.
At least his agenda is known. Does anyone think that either Democratic Frontrunner will be persuing their own agenda once in office?...

It's funny how his book is #1....yet it seems like no one has heard of him in the presidential race.

" but he is a non-factor to those in power."

And you base that comment on what, exactly?

"" It's funny how his book is #1....yet it seems like no one has heard of him in the presidential race. ""

Would that be, funny
...or funny
..

The way he's been treated, I'm surprised that the book was even acknowledged as having any readers at all.

Oprah and Ron Paul in the same sentence? Only in America.

I'd like to get the book, but don't think it will help his chances of become President one bit. He has no control over that. It can help make people aware of how corrupt the govenment really is though, in both parties.

Clinton's are a crime family, Obama is a Muslm Communist and McCain is well, John McCain (or Luke SkyWalker as he put it).

*shakes head* .. this outta be an interesting 4 years coming up.

Update:

On Sunday May 11, Ron Paul's The Revolution: A Manifesto will debut at #7 on the New York Times Bestseller List (that's 7 out of 15, so it's above the fold, so to speak).

In some ways, since the Times tracks brick-and-mortar store sales, this is more impressive than the Amazon #1. Even the big chains are not stocking the book heavily yet. But this recognition will change all that. #1 is more than possible on the NYT list too.
