You should do a bit of research concerning anti-trust laws.

What MS did do that was illegal was leverage there monopoly (nothing wrong with a monopoly) to create a barrier to entry for competitive products and to muscle there way into new markets.

I could care less about MS and the way they compete except for when they illegally use their monopoly to gain market share in things like the Internet Brower wars, barrier to entry for new desktop OS market. I think you need to research this further before making another rant.

I would like to add something that I have found on a Microsoft page, regarding the passwords.

We provide it free of charge, because we believe in the value that it creates for all of us, value that was demonstrated recently in a case in New Zealand, a case where a forensic examiner was able to take this, plug it into a computer, decrypt the password, and get at other data, and get the evidence needed to lead to the arrest of an individual involved in the trading of child pornography.

So, apparently, they have some tools to decrypt passwords, but we still not know what type of passwords.

Do any of you see why Microsoft cannot be trusted by anyone, who loves to use computers & protect their privacy? They want your info (all of it)! International Business Machines (IBM, which is managed by Zionists/Nazis) owns Microsoft, and they love to spy on common folks & their enemies (normal freedom-loving people).

Research some of IBM, and warn others about that company & their shills:

- How IBM helped the Nazis IBM and the Holocaust
- Probing IBM's Nazi connection | CNET News.com
- IBM and the Holocaust home

You may click this link Look for more important information about them, which has been shared by many reliable sources of information

Corporations like IBM/Microsoft & other Zionist/Nazi-owned companies are well known for invading peoples' homes & their privacy. They manage the world government, and they want more control over peoples' minds & bodies. They like to play with innocent people, and seriously harm them & kill them.

Corporations

To more precisely assess the "personality" of the corporate "person," a checklist is employed, using actual diagnostic criteria of the World Health Organization and the DSM-IV, the standard diagnostic tool of psychiatrists and psychologists. The operational principles of the corporation give it a highly anti-social "personality": It is self-interested, inherently amoral, callous and deceitful; it breaches social and legal standards to get its way; it does not suffer from guilt, yet it can mimic the human qualities of empathy, caring and altruism. Four case studies, drawn from a universe of corporate activity, clearly demonstrate harm to workers, human health, animals and the biosphere. Concluding this point-by-point analysis, a disturbing diagnosis is delivered: the institutional embodiment of laissez-faire capitalism fully meets the diagnostic criteria of a "psychopath."

IBM service in nazi concentration-camps!

US corporations (CocaCola, General Electrics, Ford) helped Hitler's war on the Allies through financial constructions and IBM systems were installed in the nazi concentrationcamps! Watch the award winning documentary 'The Corporation' and more at my playlists. Stop the corporate fascism!

There seem to be a good way to protect your data & also communications protocols (i guess tcp/ip protocols) it's called GNUPG.With it, you can encrypt your hdd. (freeware, for windows & linux).

I'm gonna try this very soon i don't know about you i thought i'd inform you all in case.

These tools have been around a long time, and are all over the internet.
The difference being cybercrime labs use expensive 3rd party software to retrieve data after the computer has been retrieved.
These are on a portable thumb drive that can be used at the scene, if you are smart enough to know how to.
Anyone with a modicum of skill can irretrievably delete data to the point that it becomes too expensive to retrieve, with any tools.

Unless you are suspected of harboring spy lists or nuclear secrets, no-one is going to waste the time to do an electron scan of your hard drive.

IBM owns Microsoft? That is new to me, I never heard anything like that.

And if you think that all those companies want our information (and maybe more) what do you think of Apple? Are they also owned by Nazis/Zionists/IBM?

So microsoft has made a device that can break microsoft passwords and easily extract data from a microsoft computer...

Isn't that just telling the criminals, and anyone who wants to keep their data safe, not to use windows? I mean... good luck cracking the encryption and security of a properly secured Linux based system with that... won't happen.

Besides, Linux is the tool of choice for professional cyber-criminals. Not windows.

All they've done is created an easily used hacking tool... now that the police have it, it's going to be a matter of days to weeks before the "wrong" people get their hands on it aswell.

Essentially, Microsoft has just CREATED a new security flaw in their Operating System, and are bragging about it.

Seriously, if you have anything on your computer thats personal... get rid of windows. To anyone who wants to see what you've got on your PC, that OS is like... well... a window.

They don't say that it can break Microsoft's passwords, and those are not really breakable because they do not exist in the system, only the result of the encryption function, the same system Unix/Linux uses.

That is why all versions of "administrator password recovery" systems (usually small, specialised, Linux distros) can only erase the password, it's not possible to reverse the password stored on the system.

Also, this proves what all security experts say, to secure a computer you must secure it physically first, when someone has physical access to a computer the possibilities are almost unlimited.

Hard disks, being magnetic systems, may retain residual magnetism that shows what was written there before, but, as far as I know, flash drives do not have that problem because they work in a completely different way.

If that is the case (I didn't studied the subject) then flash drives, when erased, do not leave any trace of what was there before, so all people wanting to have their files in a securely erasable device can use flash drives instead of hard disks.

(But don't tell the police I told you this)

From what I can make out of this, the device is just an easier way to do at at a crime scene, what would be done in a lab anyway.

I'm pretty sure that the laws of due process would still be in effect, so that a warrant still must be obtained to use the evidence in a court of law.

The truth is that, as I heard a law enforcement officer say on TV the other night, a PC is about as "secure as a wet paper bag."

To put it a little differently, your computer is a window into your soul and that window has a camera mounted on the sill.

Hey, that's almost a pun isn't it.

Yeah I was a bit surprised to see that post as well. But that poster has a history of blaming everything on Nazi ghosts and of course Zionists.
