PIKESVILLE, Md. — Baltimore County police admit they are baffled by the deafening blasts accompanied by split-second flashes of light that have been reported for months in a Pikesville neighborhood.

Elaine O'Mansky says she has heard the noise 25 times since September, always after midnight and before dawn. She says the accompanying flash lights up her bedroom.

My first thought was sonic booms followed by flares from aircraft, is there a base near this location?

My second thought was - is there already a thread about this?

My last thought before posting was - if this is a government conspiracy I am in the right forum, if it was a UFO I am definitely in the wrong forum.
