how far are they able to go down the deep sea and look for creatures??

Yeah, I saw this in the news today also. Since the japaneese fishermen cought that pretty big squid a while back, I've been waiting for a monster to show up! And here it it! And it isn't even an adult!!

It has hundreds of sharp hooks on its tentacles and a big powerful jaw that could easily break a 2 meter long fish in half.
The scientists from New Zealand says they think a fully grown specimen might be as long as 12 meters and 750 kg.

Cool, flagged and starred. I love giant stuff from the sea too, even though it is the scariest thing I can imagine. Maybe that is why they intrigue me so.
