Just saw this on the news in NZ.
There is a lady with one already implanted that gives her very basic black and white blocks but they are working on one at the moment that will allow up to one thousand blocks to make an image.One thousand blocks will allow face recognition they reckon.They also said that eventually they hope to develop a colour version.
