N. Korea Says U.S. Stalling Nuclear Talks

BEIJING (AP) - North Korea said Thursday that six-nation talks on its nuclear program were not making progress because of "the United States' hardline position," an envoy for the country said, according to the South Korean news agency.

Pyongyang also said it would dismantle its atomic programs if Washington "abandons its hostile policy," the Yonhap agency reported.

Humm....... seems like we want ot go to war with N.Korea????

If you think that it's the US that's the problem then you don't know the N Koreans very well. They have always been decietful and lie about everything. Research past meetings with them. There's even a case where they cut all the chair legs short so when they sat with the US they sat taller. Weird leadership there, propaganda at its worst. Just my $0.02.

I didn't say were the total problem but we are a part of it. When you have a pre-emptive foreign policy you tend to make other countries paranoid. We are hypocrites at by having nukes and not allowing other countries to have them. I don't want NK to make Nukes let alone use them, but hey this is the way the world works.

Let North Korea "stew"......the longer that "stew" sits and cooks, the better its going to taste.

In such, all that North korea has been doing is playing games. Nothing serious from them, nothing new, all the while, their nation continues to deteriorate and degrade.

Let me tell you about North Korea. The U.S. will never invade them or attack them. I've been sitting on the border 9 miles from North Korea for 10 months doing a one year tour. The only reason the U.S. maintains a presense here is for a line of defense against our biggest potential enemy China. If you do research on the Korean war you will learn that the U.S. pushed North Korea back quickly and early in the war. It was only till china joined in that the war turned in the norths favor and lasted for a few more years. What you here on the news is all just a bunch of media hype. They are starving and poor up there.

i watched a bbc documentary a few weeks back interviewing ex-north koreas (who are now living in america/south korea etc) and asking them of their experiences in NK. it wasnt nice at all - testing weapons and chemicals on humans etc. in north korea, they teach the children that america is the sworn enemy. they also teach them that the US started the korean war.

The news report says that North Korea is blaming the US. Well, what did you expect?
This is a country that is trying to blackmail the world. It expects all sorts of financial favours for giving up it's weapons programme, when in reality, nuclear weapons are of no use to them.
NK could level Seoul conventionally. It has over 1000 artillery pieces trained on the South Korean capital. The only use it would have for nuclear weapons is to threaten it's neighbours and not the US.
And remember that this was the country that the US gave money to for halting it's weapons programme, yet it was later discovered that whilst the money was paid, North Korea carried on developing.

The regime cannot survive without outside help. The government doesn't have a clue how to run a country and is a parasite on other nations.

Finally, North Korea is one of the only countries which can justifiably be called evil. Any state which forces it's people to worship it's leaders as gods has severe problems.
