Man found in Lady Bird Lake was teacher, FBI target

For those of you who are interested in the process. The Austin District Attorney's office would have to provide the official 'push' to evaluate the case as anything other than it has already done (suicide). Lacking that, Federal Marshals and or the County Coroner would have to request a review - perhaps to the Mayor (if not Governor).

In other words, no there is NO agency (loyal to the public first) that can - without being directed - look into this.

This is of course a generalization, and time will tell if some officials will want to 'respond' to a questionable 'suicide' case like this.

By the way, if someone wanted this guy dead, what would be the point of the 'suicide' angle? Any ideas?

This says why it's legal to go hunting down attorneys. Our Vice President proved that a couple of years ago.

This story reminds me of another strange suicide as reported by the United States Air Force of a man found dead in the bottom of a missile silo in Montana.
Single bullet to the back of his head, pistol found on the ground. The official
records state the bullet must have bounced off the walls before killing em.

Odd that two days before he'd phoned his father in law to say he'd stumbled onto something really big and in the event anything happened to him to please
take care of his wife and daughter.

That daughter is married to a medical physician today and she knows her father never took his life. Although the government helped discredit her mother
driving her to commit suicide.

I'll try to answer that, per old declassified documents under MKULTRA
whenever there was a problem with an individual that they felt was a loose
cannon the director would authorize a method to dispose of em.
Once again if you take the time to read the reams of documents by the CIA
you'll understand.
