Aussies get screwed over just the same and I can only wonder "why?!"
I am living the "high life" for the moment, getting my consoles (I have a PS3, 360 and a WII) and games cheap while am living on a US military base,
IN Japan (hehe) - for now - but on a recent trip home, a month ago, I saw GTA IV out on sale already
... the price tag ? ... $120.00
wtf ?
And come time when my husband and I return to Australia to live, well right now I am unsure as to what we will do, we're both big gamers.
At this point we are discussing just investing in high-voltage transformers and adapters but I'm not sure if this would be the right thing to do -
sell them all and just purchase them again in Aus at a higher price ? - or pay the costs associated with converting our consoles and running them (and
buying games a whole lot cheaper online in the US than in Aus) ... ????
WHY ?
I constantly wonder ...
