They let the Republicans steal the election for the good of the country and the world. We the people retaliated and voted in a bunch of Liberals in the last election to show our displeasure with the gods. The gods retaliated and let us vote in the tax-everything-that-moves liberals and the economy sank like the Titanic. It will be interesting to see what we do in this next election, the gods have their big foot ready and willing to put it way up our backside.

America has already opened up pandoras box, and they know it.

Will be interesting to see who ever wins, how they are held to what they are saying now.

Er, the economy began tanking on 9/11/01. Enron, WorldCom and alot of other companies had been cooking their books, and that news came out right after 9/11. That helped the 9/11 stock decline go even further.

Besides that, the "liberals" have no control in the govt. They just go along and agree with whatever the Repubs suggest. Bush hasn't worked with Congress, he dictates to them.

There is not a dime's worth of difference between the 2 parties at this point. They are both equally corrupt. Then there are the neo-cons, the ones who seem to be running the show mostly, at least these days. They tend to have no compassion, logic or sense of right and wrong and are 10 times more corrupt than either Dems or Repubs. Neo-cons come in two flavors, Dem and Repub, so that really there is only the neocon party running things, not the traditional Dems or Repubs.

You aren't concerned that the Repubs (of which you seem to be one), STOLE THE ELECTION and bribed the Supreme Court? That is a direct subversion of the Constitution.

You don't think the Republican policy of going into and staying in Iraq has anything to do with the economy?
And of course we all know the Dems were the ones who got us into Iraq. NOT.

There has always been wars and there will always be wars, unfortunately.

Wars are hell, but they are good for the economies, unfortunately.

Our economy was doing just fine until the last election, unfortunately.

No, it wasn't. We were already going into the hole before the Iraq war. Economists have been talking about an impending financial collapse since at least the '90's. You can't form an opinion in politics by just reading one side of the story or one story. You have to look at the whole picture. It's much more complicated than you think. Our financial system is not working because it's based on the Federal Reserve. We owe 9 trillion dollars to them at this point because we've been borrowing money to spend on the Iraq war.
Our entire system needs an overhaul. As I said earlier, there's no difference between the two parties, they're both corrupt.
I suggest you do some research before making such simplistic and erroneous statements. I spend about 3 hrs per day looking for reliable news on the net and have learned much since I started doing this on 9/11. The MSM doesn't print much that is important or true.

First its that thinking that will keep people fighting and no we dont always have to be stupid enough to kill each other on a massive scale and one day I hope we realize this.

Yes war is hell but no war is not ALWAYS good for the economy especially when the war is only making money for private corporations who charge through the nose for their services, IE: Haliburton
Not to metion that the failures have prolonged and added horribly to the cost and no official profits from Iraqi Oil has been used to offset any cost to the US taxpayer. Your presidents are just puppets so it doesnt matter who wins or what party they ALL PLAY FOR THE SAME TEAM AND YOU AND I ARE NOT PART OF IT!

Your economy has been ruined ever since the bankers and FED gained control and the cost of living vs working class wages have been offset to an almost depression like state for MANY middle class hard working Americans.

In the 2000 election it wasn't the gods that saved us from algore. It was the voters of Tennessee! He couldn't even win his home state!

To the Op, no offense intended, but I hope your recollection of current events isn't an indication of what most people believe. If it is it would explain much.

So what are we stuck with now? The Gods seem to be giving us crap again. You've got Obama Bin Laden, Hill(Bill) Clint Ton, and Methusulah McCain, who might as well choose Larry King for a running mate. Seems a mighty sorry crock a vittles friends.

clearly one of the, what is it now, 23% or so who still love Bush! On the bright side, that means two thirds or so think differently than the OP who by the way does not back up his claims with any facts whatsoever following 12 years of GOP rule of ALL 3 BRANCHES.
