First Sighting

Hi, my names Josh and i live in Burlington, Iowa... and just a few minutes ago me and my older brother Chad saw a triangular ufo... we have no pictures to prove it so im hoping that someone on here lives near Burlington or southeast iowa or western illinois... like i said before there are no pictures but im hoping someone on here has pictures.. if not then you can close the thread... any help would be great. Thanks

If u think u saw a UFO your not alone here on ATS thats for sure.

If u saw a triangular object it might have been a terrestrial craft too. Something from the aurora project maybe.

You live near any military airstrips?

We don't live near a military airport, but we do live a couple blocks away from an airport.. but living here all my life i know what sounds airplanes make and this didnt make any sound at all as it was flying overhead.

Tell us what was happening before you seen it, you know, start from the beginning, its not fair to just pop up in here and say you seen a ufo without telling us what happened.

How'd it smell?
How noisy was it?
Who was the last person that you seen that you didnt know?
Who was near you and what were they doing...

Well it was 9 o'clock P.M. and I was walking my girlfriend home because thats the time she has to be home. Well she only lives 3 houses down from me so it's not that far of a walk. It only takes me about 5 minutes to walk her there and come home. Well as I was heading back I looked up into the sky because I love the stars and I like pointing out constellations and such. When I looked up I saw a triangular craft with 3 lights on each end and a brighter one in the middle. At first I didn't think nothing of it and I just kept looking around at the stars. I thought to myself, "Wait, planes usually make noise." So I looked back up and it was pretty far away. I called my brother Chad and he came out to look at it with me. By the time he got outside (It only takes about 10 seconds; his room is right by the front door) it looked just like a faint star. I pointed it out to him and we were just staring and he said to me, "It can't be a plane because it's not blinking like a plane usually does." So we kept looking at it and it looked like it did a 180 and started flying back towards us. Then suddenly it started flying upwards towards the sky. Then thats when the clouds came and it overtook it and we couldn't see it anymore.

It was rainy all day and about 7 or 8 it stopped and got clear. The weather was about 50-60 degrees. The smell was the typical after rain smell (I love the smell). The clouds were coming in from the south. The craft was heading east towards Illinois.

I stayed up all night just staring out my window trying to find it but I couldn't locate it again. It was my first experience ever seeing an ufo or whatever it was. I have never seen a craft like that before and like I said I live only a couple blocks away from an airport.

The craft was flying really low to the ground compared to the planes that fly over our house. It was really weird and I'm going to start carrying my camera with me when I walk her home now.
