Dear God, man! I never thought we'd go down like this...not like this.
It reads like the back of a direct-to-video sci-fi/horror flick:
"It's last call for planet Earth as fields of barley and hops are razed world-wide by global warming in this post-apocalyptic visual effects
extravaganza directed by Uwe Bole.
Spring Break just got a little hotter as six teenagers (Freddie Prinze Jr., Tara Reid, Mario Lopez, Lindsay Lohan, Corey Haim, and Paris Hilton) hit
the once beautiful South Padre Island in the midst of a massive global warming heat-wave that drives human coeds insane with violent beer-lust! After
stumbling across a buried treasure ice chest full of cold brew, the teens must survive the rampage of the heat-maddened zombies, led by a mysteriously
powerful oil-magnate turned dictator (Robert Downey Jr.). It’s flame-throwers fueled with tanning oil in this all-out action adventure as the teens
struggle to keep the horde from cracking open a cold one…their skulls!”
I don’t think we really need to worry about beer becoming completely un-stocked on our shelves any time soon, but lately, anything any corporation
can do to blame global warming or this fake oil shortage for a jump in prices for the sake of higher profits is going to do it, so yeah, it will
become more expensive. But I don’t think people will stand by and let beer prices get as high as oil before they revolt. Once beer and alcohol are
no longer available to the masses, then you will know we are in the apocalypse.
What we do need to worry about soon though…is Uwe Boll making more movies.
