The main reason. The technology is available for anyone.
As well hardware , software as the knowledge to learn.

That's why i don't care much anymore about UFO 'proof' of pictures or movies.
For motion tracking of handheld shots you can use Matchmover by Realviz
For realistic environments you can use Vue.
For models you can use any 3D animation package that's out there.
Realism in CGI is available for anyone with descent computer skills.

Ofcourse if you are experienced it's possible to filter out the CGI ones. But when combining orginal handheld footage with a 3D motion tracked UFO it's very hard to see if a movie is real or not..

I'm convinced the UFO/ET subject is real because of the FOIA proof that's out there and i'm not learning people how to fake UFOs. People should realize how easy it can be done.
Even if people are convinced by the UFO subject they should remain skeptical.
I see a lot of people that think EVERY movie they see online is real.
They don't even doubt if the movie is real.
This religious type of UFO perception is exactly what the people in power of this knowledge and technologies want.

with technology getting better and cheaper, it allows for many to create hoaxes to further their causes, albeit monetary, political, religious or just good old fashioned hood winking.

this unfortunately takes away from the real unexplained cases due to the 3d and photo manipulating cowboys out there, who spend time and energy to make it look as real as possible.

so the end result is a lot of skepticism and an eventual urge to debunk, when it could be an actual phenomena happening.

we could spend countless hours debating what is real and what is cg'd.

my advice, take it with a grain of salt and just remember what everyone were told as children: "If it's too good to be true, it isn't true"
