Latin American Tensions Increase - Ecuadorian Helicopter Enters Columbian Air Space

Colombia's government has condemned what it called an incursion into its airspace by an Ecuadorian helicopter.

The Ecuadorian military helicopter was intercepted on Sunday by two Colombian helicopters before it returned to Ecuador, a Colombian statement said.

This comes weeks after the Columbian/Ecuador/Venezuela tensions. Wonder if things will start to escalate even more. The area seems to be a time bomb as far as socialist vs US policies goes.

Also, apparently it was a Gazelle attack helicopter that was turned away. Was Ecuador trying to attack someone, or something, in retaliation against Columbia/
